While it does look good, in my opinion they missed the mark on the cyberpunk atmosphere. It feels a bit like a caricature of cyberpunk at times, for example the people walking outside in g-strings with their bare ass hanging out. Or the amount of supercars in the street. It's like the definition of a cyberpunk universe for the devs was only sex and money. It's also much too bright and colorful. Cyberpunk dystopias are supposed to feel menacing and depressing, if it's too bright and colorful and people litterally walk around half naked like they are on their way to a sex party any time of the day, it kind of takes away from that. Look at Blade Runner or Ghost In The Shell in comparison. It's more serious and down to earth than this.

It's most disappointing that CDPR gave up on the clearly thought thru metro system. Course many stations and lines (especially the similarly disappointing Pacifica as a whole) were left unfinished with lines running into walls, invisible obstacles metro appearing from thin air. What a great view of Night City in the unofficial ride! Frankly they should've delayed CP77 a year, finish everything incl. Enemy AI & choice based narrative and then start working on Phantom Liberty as this great game is still marked all over with half-arsed components. Hopefully (but not betting on it) the DLC will round out Pacifica and with that the metro system drops as well as flying cars and actual walls around skyscrapers.

No it doesn't. Pedestrians are literally just background noise made to give off the illusion of life. They don't need to be much more complicated than they were in Cyberpunk. Just look at Skyrim; NPC have all these different schedules and tasks and it's all very impressive, but it doesn't really add anything to the overall experience. In fact, it can get annoying when you're trying to find a specific NPC and they're out wandering the city; sure, it's realistic, but video games aren't a substitute for real life, and people want to spend time fighting in dungeons, not learning an NPC's daily schedule...

To be honest the moment when V coughed blood in the shower felt so real and different from the base game. Love the video, it shows jsut how much better the game is with mods. ^^

Looks like a world made for adults to profess their kinks and enjoyments in, abandoning kids for themselves and their feelings. Its practically today! So realistic!

Playing this with some sort of immersive tech should be wild. Either way, can't wait to try this game and patch one day.

Fantastic flying ability. Only thing I found annoying was the horizontal band thingy across the windscreen which blocks out some of the view.

the posters that glitch out in the last few patches (wasn't a thing on release) as seen on the far tower at 27:50 take away so much immersion for me. Whenever I see them, they are so repetitive / in pattern on which assets glitch out that it makes me think my GPU is having artifacts or something.

I had the thought the other day while I was playing cyberpunk that someone should make one of those "walking the cities" ASMR videos. Well look at you.

I love futuristic city environments. Never played this game before but after seeing this video I think I’ll buy it. I love just open world exploration I don’t give a crap about the main campaign tbh lmao
@RuthwikRao Жыл бұрын
the main campaign is very good, I do suggest you try playing the quests, you'll remember them for quite a while.
@ALX65 Жыл бұрын
@@RuthwikRao yeah I mean I’m sure I’ll enjoy them along the way. But I looked on google and apparently there is strong sexual content and nudity. drugs I wouldn’t really mind but yeah my mom 100% won’t like it cause we are Christians lol. So yeah,maybe I’ll just do whatever prologue missions they force us to do for intros until I have the freedom of the whole map. If you can skip cutscenes then I might continue further afterwards
