Fantastic video mate. Im currently on my journey to gaining my RCP, learning to fly at Aldinga. It's my dream to own a jabiru or an Evektor Sportstar of my own. Your video is simply magic and captures the beauty and freedom we enjoy very well. If you ever need company in your right seat on any of your flights, im there with fuel money haha. Cheers for sharing this with us all, clear skys and tail winds👌

Cheers Rob, I’ll keep you in mind. Glad you enjoyed the video and stick with the training and you’ll be solo before you know it. I’ve got some others on there, radio calls etc that may help also. Always great to hear from someone local, cheers mate.

@@standupmoto Thanks mate, I have watched your radio calls video a few times. Deffinetly helped me alot at the start. I'm close to the all elusive solo now and can't wait. I love every minute of it. Your bike clips are great also, I ride a 2016 gsxr1000.

Top stuff Rob glad the videos are of some help, it can all be a bit daunting in the beginning. GSXR1000 hey they’re a great bike and quick. You probably don’t realise but in my experience in flying for over 30 years now I hav found motorcycle riders generally pick up the flying much faster than those that don’t ride. It’s the whole coordination thing combined with balance ie-clutch/gears/throttle etc. have to catch up one day. Cheers.

@@standupmoto Funny you say that because I have been told alot that my control and progression are very well developed for low hours. I hadn't made that connection yet. A catch up one day would be great. Happy flying and riding!

Thanks for sharing your joy of flying Steve. Flying as passenger in light fixed and rotary wing aircraft has always excited me and I'm looking forward to more lessons in the fabulous Jabiru. More flying videos please Steve! (BTW, I cannot find your Eps 10?)

Hi Colleen, glad you’re enjoying the videos. I certainly enjoy making them, eps ten is not there yet as I’ve been tied up doing bike videos. Stay tuned! lol. Cheers.

That’s what it’s about. Lost my Flight Design CTLSi in Helene flooding. 8 feet water in the hanger. I like the Jabiru.

Oh mate that’s terrible, the CT is a wonderful aircraft. Have only spent a couple of hours in one but found it to be very nice to fly with short field capability, hopefully you were insured and you’ll back it in the air soon.

Is that 130kts IAS?
@standupmoto2 жыл бұрын
About 115 Jeff, don’t take her much more. She has low drag struts & slip mods for reduced drag, so yes you have to be careful you don’t VNE.
