This is super helpful! How did you handle getting through security? Did you have to remove them from the cart?

Glad I could share helpful content! Yes they did get out and walked through security and the car seats had to be checked separated through security then we got to use them again on the other side. The girls stayed close and just held our hands through it all, they did a great job 🥰

Flying with my 1.5 year old twins in our nuna ravas as well! We have carts and planning to do this almost exactly - glad to see it works! How were the RAVAs on the plane? They're so wide and heavy, I'm nervous!

That’s exciting! Where are you flying? The car seats are definitely bulky but they always fit when we fly (we’ve taken them on Lufthansa, United, southwest, and frontier and all fit in the seat fine) 🙌☺️ then we just fold up the carts and out in under the seat or can also put in overhead bin

How did the cars seats fit on the southwest seats? Were they already riding facing forward in the car or did you have to face them forward?

Hello. We are traveling soon with this car seat. The instructions say that to install it on the plane one should install the aircraft seatbelt on top of closed True Tension Door and under seat cover. Was this uncomfortable for your children? Or were you able to secure the aircraft seatbelt under the True Tension Door? Thanks!

Hi, the best advice I can give is to follow the instructions that came with the car seat. It was a bit confusing for me as well but the kids didn’t seem uncomfortable at any point. :)

They handled it amazing!! For you as mom, you think is easier or hader to travel now that they’re older?? I’m scared to travel again with my girls now that they throw tantrums 🫠🫠😅

Thank you! Yes I’m so proud they did such a good job! Even though they were wide awake the whole first flight - that was a shock considering how early we got up! But I’d say it is a bit harder traveling now than when they were babies because they need so much more entertainment and attention. But on the other hand they can communicate a little now so that also helps. They also are more engaged and curious with all the things around us so … there are pros and cons of traveling at every phase. It’s all exciting though and my biggest tip is to go with the flow 😅😍

Yay! Go mama! Sorry to the delayed response - hope it’s working well for you! Each airline is different but usually when flying with a baby most airlines will let you check the car seat or stroller for free! & if you are using it in flight it’s not a personal item since it’s the seat and the rolling cart can fit under the seat (or overhead bin if available)

Hi! Both my twins rode in their car seats in flight! It was a very positive experience! If you’re interested in doing this just make sure the seat is FAA approved. Also I show some other helpful ways to transport the car seat to the gate in the video as well. Hope this helps! Happy travels! 🥰

Hello! Do you happen to know what aircraft you flew on? We will be flying on a Boeing 737-800 and when I contacted the airline they said the car seat has to be less than 17" width. The Rava is 19" and so I am trying to look for another car seat but I'd prefer not to have to buy a new one. I see that you were able to install the Rava on the aircraft?

Hi! I wish I knew but I can say that I’ve used these seats on Southwest Airlines as well as United and Lufthansa for long distance flights. I hope this helps!

The strap says nuna but there is a Britax in the description which is the car seat

Hey! Not at all! I would definitely recommend flying with the car seats especially for a night flight (helps them sleep longer or so it seemed for us) Hope you have a great trip to Hawaii!!
