Flying Zipair and Staying Overnight At Narita

Going on a low budget and last minute, we decided to go with Zipair to travel to Japan. It cost us $455 flying on a weekend one way but we added $80 for 1 luggage, seat selection plus food and drink. Which overall still falls much cheaper compare to others. The flight itself was very pleasant, it does not feel like a budget airlines flight. We also avoided paying additional $200 for a few hours of sleep at Narita's capsule hotel so we ended up sleeping at Narita's terminal 1 on the seating. At some point the security locked the entry doors from outside and all passengers waiting inside were required to stay on the 1st floor. They also turned off most of the lights which helps people sleep, the security also patrols the area regularly. We are very happy with the flight and definitely will fly Zipair again

Without buying the premium package how’s the seat’s arrangement for family of 3? Is it first come first serve or assigned seat by the airline? Thanks.
