This is a super helpful video! I have a very math-specific question: at 10:52 you can see that 3.38k/week in dividends is going to the capitalists. However, at 11:05 you can see that their income is 2.6k. Taking the ratio, the capitalists are pocketing ~77% of the dividends they get, even though I thought they should be pocketing 70% and reinvesting 30% (that 30% is subject to efficiency modifiers, but the 70% isn't I thought). What is the explanation for this discrepancy? I am able to replicate this in my own file: ~77% of a capitalist's income is being pocketed, and 30% of it ( times 1.2 if industrialists are happy and times 1.25 under LF) is being reinvested

So they get 3,38k in dividends and their dividend income is 2,50k (their total is 2,60k). This is 74% and I am not sure att his point where that other 4% comes from. Maybe the game calculates forward or something or it goes gradually down and up depending on how the buildings perform in the portfolio of the financial district? Not sure myself.

I think you might have have the local workforce thing wrong. I would think of the 6 logging camp as one business where the financial district own 2/3 and the local workforce collectively own 1/3. Therefore the financial district gets 2/3 of the dividends while the local workforce gets 1/3. Also you have a bunch of clergymen in the manor houses, I think you could change the production method there to reduce their numbers.

yes, but then for 2 levels the pops themselves get the dividends and the other 4 the pops who work in the logging camp don't, since they go completely to the financial district?

It is very much guessing all these things since there is no information anywhere to find about this unfortunately. As far as I can see the pop group is the same, but there are some labourers who get dividends and some labourers who don't?

@@FlyingDutchy No, I believe the total of the 6 building dividends is divided so that 2/3 goes to the financial district and 1/3 goes to the total workforce in that building. The financial district owns 2/3 of the shares and the local workforce owns 1/3 of the shares, not specific building levels. Edit: they do own individual levels, but the 30K workers collectively own 2 of those levels.

I think you need to look at every building in a state as a single business. Then the levels indicate how big it is, and each level can have an owner, but when the local workforce is the owner it is the total workforce of all six that collectively own 2 of the six levels.

That would mean that when there is some levels locally owned the people who don't locally own it but work for the financial district still get some dividends?
