5711M Goes Draining

It never drains but it pours!! More burst drains and the 3075 takes a back seat as we try out the 5711M with the new front loader and bucket...and ideal weapon for drainage!!!

Its like October Alan only the days are longer. Thats one thing about the 5711 it is a very comfortable wee tractor. 👍

Agree the weathers crap here in Cornwall to! 7th July need to start thinking about combining the winter barley but the weathers looking shocking this coming week. Takecare👍

That ground was stupid wet for the time of year 😩🤦‍♂ I had my thermals on a couple of weeks ago with the cold winds blowing 🥶

😂 I get hand signals the exact same way here. My dad’s favourite word is move just a hair’s breadth,any more and your in the bad books😂 Love looking forward to the new video each week. It’s amazing what a drain can do for a field. I was thinking that the front tyres maybe could do with a few psi more? With a large bucket the tractor really needs ballast, so filling the rear box first would be less strain on front axle and aid traction and make it more stable. I have a 7ft bucket on my 4345.

They probably could do with a blast of air. The way the stones are sited saves double turning by filling the front first but do agree weight on the back then the front is best.👍

Ground and weather conditions reminiscent of the depths of winter. Good flow from the outfalls, drains doing a good job. You need some short lengths of solid pipe to outfall into the beck.

Your older quicke will be euro 3 brackets you could convert it to euro 8 with a new headstock or make up an interface from 3 to 8

Seen a lad on the tg4 show contractors from Donegal he had a home made hopper filled with rock that gets pulled over the drainage ditch and the stone falls down to the ditch evenly

Nice video. How's the MF 1200 coming on Noticed farmer Phil has finnshed his at last wasn't to sure on the colour but its tuned out nice. But I would thinnk you would want a yellow one in your shed. Lol I am waiting for you to start harvesting..

That’s a serious wet bit of ground. For them drains you should map them out in Google or one of the gos hiking apps and save the gps paths for them. In a few years it’s handy to see where they are. Have u found a channel Farm Theory on KZbin. It’s in Omagha and a real good channel

Drainage is a wet dirty task but a rewarding job as well when you see the results 👌 glad you're enjoying the 5711 but me being a dinosaur give me a 5 or 600 series 4wd with a loader 🤔🤣🤣

I actually never asked, I would guess around 60-70 depending on spec etc, but then there is trade in deals etc so its quite variable.🤷‍♂️
