As a parent, I love just seeing you travel as a family as we love doing so with our own kids. These types are really cool and fun to watch - not many folks winter camp. And literally staying IN the Great Barrier Reef was awesome. Maybe someplace along the coast? Beach camping? The Northern California coast is beautiful. Or many national parks in the US have lodging inside the park. Safe travels!

Hunter’s giggles are the cutest! I remember my late grandpa, he used to do the “ahhhh” sound after sipping his coffee, and my little cousins would drink and do the ahh sound too. This video brings back old but good memories.

Hello all. About 20 years ago I went on a tour in March that called into Yosemite National Park. Most of us coach going tourists were middle aged but there was a family of Australians on the tour. They had two young girls. They had not seen real snow before and at the park entrance we had to pull over and the driver had to put snow chains on the wheels. While the driver was busy I’ve seen so many middle aged adults playing in the snow with these Ozzie kids. We were snow-balling, making snowmen and snow angels. Never seen so many adults playing in the snow.

Boy, you guys are really going all in on roughing it, Canuck-style! I've lived here my entire life and even I've never gone winter camping in the wilderness. It's great that you've opted for a true experience of authentic Canadiana, rather than the usual touristy things I've seen in other videos of people visiting Canada (CN Tower, Niagara Falls, etc...). It's comparable to if I ever visited Australia, camping in the outback. Love the joy on Hunter's cherubic little face. She looked so tiny and cute nestled in between those grisly Canadian woodsmen. Good on ya! Think you'll be back in Southern Ontario before you leave?

It's awesome to see you all enjoying the best of what Canada has to offer in the middle of winter. It would be fun to see you come back during our summer months so that everyone around the world understands that Canada doesn't always have snow. A lot of people assume that Canada is a frozen place year round but we have some amazing summers too. Hunter makes me smile every single time and her laugh is the most contagious thing.

Well done, I loved Winter camping. I came to Canada in 1990 and joined a Canadian Scouting Rover crew, and we camped all year round. But amazing you did it with a toddler. I am living just North of Toronto, and love how close the wilds are. Have fun with all the Canadian Winter activities, hope to see you, ice skating on a frozen lake and enjoying eating Beaver tails! Keep warm, it's chilly out there.

Once I have watched this video I will have completed watching every video of yours from the very first one to the present (18/1/2022, 1:53am in Adelaide). I have done this in about a month. I only started from your first video in the week or two before Christmas 2021, before that I watched your various travel playlists in reverse chronological order, unfortunately. After doing that, I realised there were more videos to be found that weren't in the playlists so I decided to go to the very beginning and here I am, all caught up, it has been very interesting watching you all grow as people over your years (my weeks) and the quality of your videos improve every day. Also I have been sure to press the like button on each and every video and watched some more than once (travel series). So you're welcome for the thousands of likes and views lol. I'd love it if you could let me know how many videos you've posted so I know how many i've watched and the minutes of content if youtube shows you that. Keep up the travels! I'm currently on a gap year just after finishing high school before uni, I plan to work for the next few months then either go to Canada or Queensland (very different I know) for the remainder of the year. P.S. I am half Canadian, half Australian.

There is so much I loved about this vlog...watched it with a smile on my face the whole time. Hunter has the best parents and I'm so happy for her that you're making these videos because she is too young to remember them but when she'll be a bit older and watch herself doing all these amazing things, well, I think you're setting her up for success as an adventurer, world traveller and nature-lover. Kudos to you both. I loved watching Hunter try hot chocolate and those big burly men talking to her like she's an adult and not talking down to her was so cute. Truly a heartwarming vlog. The only one little thing that's wrong with it...sorry to correct you Jess, but you said it multiple times haha...those are not birch tree leaves (birch isn't an evergreen....maybe balsam?). Thanks again for sharing your wonderful adventures! Sending much love from Waterloo, Ontario, Canada 🤗🤗🤗

LOVE this video so much! That little Hunter is such an amazing sweetheart 💕 She is such an adorable pumpkin and is doing so well! You definitely would of had to go through the dummy withdrawal regardless, so I say keep going with it! I also would say another trick is to put the remainder of her dummies into a fancy bag whenever she finds them and say you will give them to the fairies for the babies that need them as she is all grown up! Put it on a tree limb overnight and in the morning take the bag down and tell her the fairies have taken them to all the babies that need them! So many parents I know have done this and has worked like a charm! Otherwise, if you just hide them from this point, I am sure she will get used to it. I also love those ideas about the ice fishing and activities in the summer! They sound amazing!
