Since finding you online about a year ago I have finally reached a stage where I am not ashamed of my home. My mum is a horrendous horder worthy of tv. I have broken free of her keep everything for decades and have become houseproud. Clutter takes up so much time, life is too short. Enjoy your home, your belongings and be proud of your home. Thank you FlyLady x

I put my a paper recycling bin and my paper shredder next to my front hall console where the mail piles up (Hot Spot!). This way when I go through the mail, I can recycle and shred and then put away I intend to keep.

I love the timer idea, people don't want to start cause they think things will take too long... but set a timer for 10 minutes in each room and see how much you can really get done. I am a timer freak... LOL

I really like the hot spot concept.. it's those spots in the room I always avoid with my eyes and my mind :)

My hot spot is my yarn basket and I have also boxes full of yarn. How can I minimize this problem. I love to knit and crochet but all the yarn I have has me all tied up. I also have my six month inspection coming up and I could use some advice. I don't want to flunk this one or I'm out! methodistgirl
