A lot of the times you can not go off of a studio recording there is way too much studio magic going on to make you sound the best you possibly can. This is why you will hear an awesome cd and see the band that made it live and they suck. Plus the difference between this and the studio recording is in the studio she is singing full on to a whole band with electric instruments and if she messes up they can just retry to get a better take. For this she has one guy with an acoustic so she has to tone it down a bit but be raw at the same time. She is just a good singer both renditions are great the other vocalist is very good but she is not Lacey.

i love this song. i have since i first heard it but now i love it more now that i can actually relate to it. my closest cousin rachel just admitted to me that she became agnostic. i mourned for i felt i had lost my closest friend and i did. the 2 of us were saved on the same day. her brother herself and i were baptized the same day. i went to church camp just 2 weeks after she told me and i prayed with all my might though it felt not enough and i still pray that i can make her "see and believe"

i so dig her passion when she is singing,that is why I like Adele so much. I am so tired of the big huge productions with people who suck at singing. If they did what they do in the music business in the other arts,dancing you'd break a bone or just fall off the stage,comedy booed off,fashion,painting no one would buy your stuff. Does it matter who's better?? This song.. this BAND... is all about emotion. There is so much passion in each of their voices, so how can you compare? Lacey's is very raw, where as Maddi's is different. But that doesn't mean that one's better than the other. Stop trying to compare, and just listen! Let the song live in your heart!
