It's a shame too because I would LOVE this version of the song to be recorded. The lyrics are even a bit different since this is the demo if I'm not mistaken. In 2007 I was working in south tx. I heard Flyleaf was playing in next town over. Called my daughter and told her. She liked their music. So I went and had someone from inside bring a shirt to the door. Months later I gave it to her. I asked about their music. She played some on computer. It Rocked!!. She was in her teens. We went to San Antonio to the tattoo convention and who is playing live in the parking lot. Flyleaf!! Awesome gig. Lacy in her sundress and the band doing high kicks while playing. I have always shared my music likes with my daughter. But with this one she outdid me!!. Love you always Dad.

As a 90s kid, I got to appreciate this song when it came out and was popular on the radio and in movies, it wasnt until years later I appreciated it more learning how much effort goes into practicing being able to scream at those levels and then immediately go back to a singing voice without strain.
