I think memento mori has amazing uplifting messages. In the dark contains the lyric Jesus, kill me & save me, raise me up to live again. The kill me part just means to bear your cross in life. You have to take the bad with the good. Arise is amazing because it deals with drugs & defeating that particular addiction-“The snow on your face & your razor blade.” It acknowledges that there are those out there addiction to cocaine (snow) & they use razors to divide the amounts. It’s a song that tells you in the end to arise & be the best version of yourself. The 2nd record is more aggressive sounding but the overall message of memento mori is to use the time wisely you have on earth. Remember that death can come at any time so use the time doing good things instead of bad.

It says in the Bible we are saved by grace through faith so yeah it doesn’t please God but it doesn’t define whether your Christian or not, maybe she’s just using the word to express a frustration
