To the people claiming this this is too pop or what ever crap, I'm sorry, I listen to pop on the radio station my work plays (not of my own choice) for hours on end and this is not pop. Is it a little different than some of Flyleaf's previous work, yes, but does that mean its garbage and needs to be bashed endlessly? No, definitely not. Come on guys, grow up, show some support for the group as a whole and personally I love Kirsten's talent as a vocalist and cannot wait to see her full potential unlocked within the band. So stop your whining, if you don't like it, stop watching/listening to their music you have that choice its not like you're in a limited society with no other choices.

Lacey was really putting her soul into music and that made her style unique. I loved the old stuff and I still do. Kristen's just different but she has good technique, she's not bad at all. And the music still rocks! I instantly fell in love with Who We Are, and I've listened to this new song like a hundred times already. Flyleaf's good, old and new.

I do agree that the Kristen and Lacey are different vocally, but this song feels just as much like Flyleaf as it did with Lacey. Life happens and people can't do the same thing forever, and I feel like they did a good job with this song as the band, Flyleaf.

Loving the band, as with all bands over time their music changes. Flyleaf were my first band I ever saw live, and they've been a huge part of my life. Getting me through some rough patches, I knew their music was there to lift my spirits up. Can't wait till the album is released, and to see the new reform live in England.

I think Flyleaf is gonna do just fine now. Sure Lacey was something special that will never be replaced, but Kristen is her own person, not a new Lacey. She's being herself and I think that's awesome! She's not trying to copy Lacey's style she's just being who she is. So long as she pours her heart out to God and into her music, things are gonna go fantastic :D

When I heard that lacey was leaving and a new singer was coming in I was thinking their not going to be any good but I honestly love their new singer she's great and really trying her best to keep them going. I loved lacey, she was good because she was unique and had the sound that nobody else had, but Kristen is badass. The new songs rock, every one of them that I've heard and collectively I think they are better then old flyleaf, but sentimentally had a connection with lacey and it's hard that she's gone because she's inspirational from what she's been through and rose above but musically I think Kristen makes every song great and overall awesome. I don't have to listen to them a lot to make myself like them but it comes naturally now.

Every time someone talks about Kristen this, or Lacey that, it just proved the point that what you Idolise you eventually demonise. You also miss the part that this is a band not a solo project. The other 4 guys didn't change, and lets face it the songs are pretty much the same, just the singing a bit different. Love this song, can't wait for a new albumn. PS Sid Barret was the original singer for Pink Floyd, and the same stuff occured then.....now look at Waters and Gilmore. They are Pink Floyd.

I for one like it. What this band had was Lacey so why in the world would you expect the same sound with a new singer and a new mind in song writing. Is it Flyleaf of old? of course not. But this band still has the same great musicians that created the sound on all the prior Flyleaf albums. That said has anyone paid attention to Laceys version of I'm so sick with her new band? Kristen with Flyleaf doing Flyleaf songs is 100 times better than Lacey covering the old songs with her new band. Lacey was and is great but the 5 of them created a sound that they are not going to find with any other combination. If you get a chance to see the new line up I recommend you go and i guarantee it is a dang good show!

Nick Alexandrov Kristen is a good singer, I'll agree to that, but Lacey was just... she had something real special, and Kristen just can't live up to that. I feel bad for her, because it's sort of like she has to fill these impossibly big shoes, and there will ALWAYS be someone who is unhappy with her because she's not Lacey.

Bassection The thing about it is that Lacey was the voice and face of the band. Her unique and powerful sound made the band what it was. Im not bashing on Kristen because she is a good singer, she just doesn't have the edge that Lacey's voice did which completed the aggressive sound the band is going for. I am a flyleaf fan but I'm not so much a flyleaf with Kristen fan. For the most part, your logic is sound but the problem is that switching vocalists is a far bigger deal than switching any other instrumentalist because the voice is the most unique instrument used in a band's music, changing the vocalist drastically changes the band's sound. Let's take the Newsboys for example, when Peter Furler left the band he was replaced by Michael Tait, who is a really good vocalist but Furler had an incredibly distinct voice and switching to Tait's voice radically changed the way the band sounded, some people like it some people don't. It's the same concept just a different band.

Kristen sings in her own style. You: "Kristen sings more different than Lacey" If Kristen tried to sing like Lacey everyone would be like "She's trying too hard to be/sing like Lacey" You know, you should see them as a new band now. Of course they aren't the same without the original singer. Voices just are different. When you have a guitarist/drummer/bassist, you just don't hear as much of a difference as when you have a new singer.
