I can really appreciate what both Lacey and Kristen bring to this song. They each have their own beauty and are almost too different for comparison. Kristen's voice has a very pure quality to it that is beautiful.

it will never be the same without Lacey singing it, yes I know theres a new singer so I know that same raspy voice wont be there and the sound will be different. But where is the emotion? No Kristen is NOT better for this band,she's a great singer but just not right for flyleaf. I will never get over this cause Flyleaf was my number one band and they helped me in so many different ways and now i can hardly listen to any of their new music. It makes me sad. Now this is just my opinion so dont go and try to rip my head off over this.

Amen. So glad Lacey comes out with her own music now with Josh. Idk why Kristen was even in the band...guess that just wanted to carry on God’s message. But tbh Lacey has been so successful since she’s left and had two kids, one more on the way! Haha! And she’s already came out with her third book :) check out her solo album. :)

Just doesn't sound the same. The song has been way toned down to make up for the new girl not having a raspy voice like what Lacey had. I know she is not going to sound the same as Lacey but the entire song has been changed. She's not a bad singer just maybe not what this band needs. They shouldn't have to tone down their sound to make up for having a singer who's vocals cant carry the band
