Why semi-suicide mode safety and not standard?

The weight of the leash and the loop makes the safety line go under tension. I suppose you don't want to have any tension on the C level especially in light wind. I have this issue on my foil race bar when packing out, I connect on semi suicide all the time. He is using a loop only and not a hook, so you can only release to disconnect the bar.
