Fantastic, very few people are confident enough to share your knowledge. I have been a software engineer, and an electromechanical engineer. I have never shied from sharing my knowledge. People that do the same as me always ask me why I share.. my answer... I'm going to continue hands on and always will learn new stuff. The customer I taught will only know what I taught them. If they call me on the phone and ask me questions I will help them. How the hell we learn.. by networking... Kudos... this will pay you back in spades and people will respect you... BTW I earned my IBM programming certificate in 1969 as a senior in HS, my electromechanical in 1971. I wil be 69 years old in May. I still work in my garage working on computers Nd special projects... and I never stop learning... now I know how to put in sequential lights on my 2017 Silverado. Again..many thanks..

This video was not boring. I have tried to watch other instructional videos where the presenter is just super wordy, or gets hung up on a specific thing, or goes off on a tangent. What you did was a clear, concise, instructional video. Now if I could just quit getting sidetracked watching your content and actually figure out how to custom build the housing.

You make a very informative high quality tutorial. I am seriously impressed how you were able to make it completely comprehensive to someone like myself with little to no knowledge about the subject. I'm able to understand every aspect of the build and it really isnt to hard to do so but you didn't overwhelm viewers. By teaching the function of each component before the application I was able to see it before it was visually applied, this is wonderfull and I wish that teachers in schools could grasp this method of teaching kids, you made a rather complicated process ( for the avarage inexperienced ) appear simple as not to intimidate the student, therefore allowing the mind to retain instead of fearing the unknown . I have to say, you tube is where I have learned alot but this video you made goes so far above and beyond that. You are a true master in your field and it shows in your work, my hat is off to you. Never stop teaching!!!

I watched the hole thing. I'm an auto sparky and slowly starting to understand how it all works, I love watching your content (although you could do with a better camera) I'm trying to take apart my rear tail lights to change something on them but can't even get the cover off hahha I don't think it was made to come off, I baked it like you do and tried to pry it apart and it just wouldn't move. It was like there wasn't any adhesive on it to peel off haha, so I got pissed off and started to use a tool and then cracked it but that's not the moral of the story. I love your content and I'm learning so much from you! Keep it up mate

Something to consider would a hot air solder station or a better yet a small re-flow oven. You can bake a whole set of surface mount (SMD) at once or with the hot air, get focused air with more control and less movement for a small number of parts or replacing individual surface mount components that fail. Plenty of DIY ovens out there, but would not recommend the heat gun as DIY, too much air and not enough focused heat or heat control.

Awesome dude, very inspiring. Also you are a pretty good instructor, no added video bling ( music and lighting tricks etc. ) just right to the point . That's how you do it. I'm definitely going to do this. I bought some custom Euro spec Angel eye headlights, from Romaina for my 96 MKIII Cabrio and some really ugly dot style LED tail lights. And I got no problem cutting those ugly rows of dots out, so I can design something with a custom shape. And have them look as Awesome as the ones you have created. So I'm either going to have some awesome one off headlights and some matching Fly LED performing taillights. Or some Awesome one off headlights, and stock tail lights because I really screwed them up. 😱😱. But I am definitely going to try and do this. And by the way, I watched all the way to the end, and clicked on your links. I have checked out your 20 LED kit, watched the videos there, checked out the LED's on the other link, and have considered how much it's going to cost. And I'm doing this, thanks man I also subscribed and gave 👍👍. I'm thinking of maybe, two circular rings that rotate in oposite directions for the brakes after the three flashes. With running sequential turn signals, flowing along both the top and bottom . Starting at the inside edges center, and flowing down then turning to flow out to the outside edge to flow back up to the outside edges center. Then cycling back again, but flowing in the one direction. Oh yeah, I'm feeling this!!!!! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Really ENJOYED both videos. Don't feel I could do this on my own. I would prefer you to improve my Aura headlights for me and pay you. They don't make aftr market led headlights for my car which is a bummer for me. Like your calmness and easy to follow instructions. I would like my led brake lights to do that sequential look when I apply the brakes. If that brake kit now plug & play and easy to add to my Aura taillight, would be interested. Thanks for the good intro.
