Flysurfer Peak5 8qm 1st foil test

First time test my new peak5 8qm with my gong foil curve M 1150cm³
8-20 kts gusty as always peak FTW :)

I used just a short line of copper around 1mm fixed which fits in the zylinder where the original part was in...an still holds well until today 😀

So sketchy when it collapsed!! How do you like foil kite vs lei? I’m thinking of trying one

It is a curse and a blessing at the same time. On a foil kite i a like the power specially in very low wind and on the peak the very easy self-launch ability(also when it´s very crowded). In comparison with a lei kite you can swim away from the beach and start there with drift launch. Both have there pros and cons. In my case i also use my foil kites in snow kiting so for me it´s a reason more to have 1 or 2 peaks (also tested with twintip, surfboard and very light weight backup kite in kite trips)

Hi what is the lowest wind speed you could foil with with this size?

With my 1150cm² starting from around 5kts fun from 7kts up to 15kts
