No the weather is still crap here, raining heavy nearly everyday, just lucky i had a caouple hours or so sunshine to get out and film this video, and yeah not modding this one. It will just be used to bring in other boats if they get stuck 👍 have a good weekentd brother

Water can come in around the prop shaft where it comes though the hull and connects to the collet. All rc boats its suggested you pull the shaft and marine grease it after EVERY use. And even that isn't 100% water proof. It mitigates it somewhat.

It seems to move along well on a 2s lipo on a calm lake. Sucks yours still takes on water. I didn't notice that with mine but when I reviewed mine the lake was really choppy so it kept getting bogged down as it would get briefly partially submerged when it would hit the choppy waves. This is definitely a boat that is best for calm days. Nice revisit with 2s Dave.

Yes these are only good on a calm pond or lake for sure, i may look into the 2 halves that make up the hull as someone has suggested here as the cause for the leak on this model boat, apparently its not sealed properly.

Lipo might lead to having it die in the middle of the lake because they don't go as low as the li-ion pack I've found

I think the leak comes from the seam around the 2 hull halves, there is no sealant between thEM AT ALL.This is where it was coming from on my friends @ TheMiniatureConstructionCompany.

@@grrfy nah as i mentioned in this video im not really interested in making this one brushless, just leave it stock and use as a rescue boat. I have quite a few brushless boats that are heaps faster than this one would be even with a brushless conversion

Agree the hull half's and drive shaft. Need to use Vaseline to water proof it.
