Hah, "FlyToGet", I love it. It should be "Flytoget", literally meaning "The Airplane Train", or in English the Airport Express Train :) Also note: Not all services stop at Lillestrøm!
@tommyd32579 ай бұрын
You are right that it’s Flytoget, which in Norwegian means airtrain. Since the expansion of service years ago, all train stop at Lillestrøm. Check The schedule

@@tommyd3257 Not all services stops at Lillestrøm only line FLY1 stops at Lillestrøm and the FLY2 service runs directly to Oslo Centralstation
@RKH15022 ай бұрын
@@tommyd3257 Can't even remember commenting this, but that's incorrect: Not all Flytoget services stop at Lillestrøm. Specifically, the FLY1 service from the airport stops at Lillestrøm, continues past Oslo, and then terminates in Drammen. The FLY2 service meanwhile skips Lillestrøm and terminates at Stabekk.

The train from provider ‘Vy’ goes from the airport to Oslo central for half the price and is just as quick, just departs from a different platform. If it is not rush hour, then I always take the cheaper option. Can get crowded ay peak times.

Great video. I will hopefully be using that train service in December.

Twice as expensive as the regular train taking the same time. Plus, the same ticket is valid for other public transport.

That is crazy that Oslo: has had a High Speed train that runs at 130 Miles per hour from the airport to the city since 1998!

The Vy trains are way more cheaper
@HrHaakon7 ай бұрын
Yeah, if you live there, it's cheaper, and you probably already know how the routes work. But if you don't... it's just a lot less hassle, and that's typically worth the extra price for people.

The regional RE10, RE11 and R12 trains from VY are just as quick and comfortable, for half the price. Flytoget is a scam for unaware tourists
