Not it's here now you can buy it on amazon and have it shipped to yeah house as it is out iut is a final product that now exsits.. So yeah TLDR it is a massive improvement over the mini 4 pro that no one should ever consider it if it does one nno other DJI drone does and you value that over all else and DJi doesn't bring that one feature back... Sio yeah my humble recomader from this video and reading what DJI has listed on their ssite and Amazon for both rpodyucts... 100% never consider any Mini now... They are still nice to have if your have them or find they for cheap as a colectble or for some project we can only dream of today and likely don't... But if they somehow are right next to each other on the swelf tbe Flip 100% pf the ttime it is just 100% objextly better on papaer at least... Also that was when I assumed theuy were the same MSRP in USD.. They are no were close! The Flip is under $500 USD and the Mini 4 Pro is over 1K USD! So yeah the best exemple I have is the RTX 30 series over the RTX 20 series when both were on selves at the same time... How ever that ofocrse while more likely also had the complexty of an insane un pracded demand spike that on well into the RTX 40 series life did Nividda smooth out... THe Mini 4 pro and Flip are jnot in that situation... The Flip is easly avable the Mini 4 pro is as far as I can tell 100% disdcontued due to the Flip 100% replacing it as a new drone in that segment of DJI's trule by today's tsanbdards massive line up of cionsumer and unmaaned drones... So yeah unless you need the Mini 4 pro to make any drone worth it.. Which I have been their countless times... But unless the mini 4 por is well below the MSRP of the Neo so like under $75 USD... The Flip or neo is 100% the only choice... Also the Flip also has the exact same weight class as the Mini 4 pro...

Trust me they are not. The lack of competitors to DJI on every niche and especially drones makes them slowing the innovation and bumping the prices. Trust me that the technology they have is more more sophisticated and much cheaper to produce, but since they have to competition they not showing us everything so fast, because why would they, if we will pay them everything no matter how high prices they set, because there is nothing on the market. Don't get me wrong, I really love DJI products, and appreciate good software and how user friendly they are, but I know the sad truth...

It’s a pretty cool novelty drone in my opinion. The video quality isn’t as good as the Air 3s or Mini 4 Pro but it would be great for beginners due to the prop guards. Great review as always. Thanks for providing the info and comparing the differences between each drone.

Great drone at a great price. When viewing the video image quality on my 27 inch 5k imac screen, the mini 4 pro IQ seemed better. Curious as to what others think. Image quality means a lot to me, maybe the mini 4 pro at 300 dollars more is better? Another great video, well done FlytPath.

Actually if you go for M4P why not wait for M5P which rumor to have 1 inch sensor. I actually have the Neo and am getting Flip. If you start having audio on your drone shots, you can’t go back and Flip seems the perfect drone (mid way in price) and get me M4P camera. Actually both Neo and Flip are actually not for beginners.

I actually bought the Neo for my six years old but having a close proximity drone that can capture audio is quite a different experience. If you can get your hand on a Neo. Have a try. It is fun. Neo is actually really fun. If only they put a 1/1.3 sensor in it, it will be perfect.

DJI missed an opportunity here. The Flip should have been a little smaller and quieter. As it is now, it cannot replace the mini 4 pro and Neo.

Thanks for the video. I had been planning to buy this, but am going to hold off after watching this. I was hoping for more of a beefed-up Neo with the Mini 4 Pro’s camera, at sub 250g. I have a lot of drones and am looking for one to fill a few specific use cases where it would help to have DJIs stability, transmission, FPV-capable, and sub 250g camera performance will help. I am going to pass on this but I can see how this might be pretty good for a beginner, or it might be a perfect solution for other use cases.

We have three questions: 1) Does DJI FLIP can track people riding a motorcycle? You said it has a problem with e.g. a car, what about motorcycle with people on it? It would be great if you can check this :) 2) What's the maximum capacity of MicroSD card for DJI FLIP? 3) Does DJI FLIP show on DJI RC 2 controller a green path when its returning (like a DJI 4 Mini Pro does)? Great review! But I kinda wish they took more design cues from the NEO, like the robustness and 3-blade propellers. Probably with 3rd party accessories later on? I recently got the DJI NEO, because I wanted something to fly safe and travel lightweight, that’s also cheaply replaceable. My main issue with it though is the camera quality; small sensor size causing lots of noise and the cropping/rotation by the electronic image stabilization (EIS), resulting into a much lower resolution than the advertised "12MP" or "4K" that the sensor is truly capable of. I wish NEO had an option to turn off the EIS completely to get uncropped/unrotated videos and images in the true resolution of the sensor, but I heard this setting is only available with the Goggles N3/3?

Thank you so much! I appreciate it. I think the flip would be great for travel to Mexico where you need a sub 250g drone and want the prop guards and the ability to control it with your phone. There's a lot of pluses but I'm not sure it beats out the Mini 3 or Mini 4 pro. I think at that point, it's the AI and the remote/phone/AI issues. It definitely is moving in the right direction. I wonder why, and it may be in design impossibility, they did not put two of those clasps that hold it closed on the rear propellers so that when you set it on the ground, it is level. I also wondered and I assume they tested for this if those cause any drag when flying.

I wonder if its gimped like the Neo, so that you only can ONLY adjust sharpening with RC2 and it doesn't remember the setting, especially for the smart snaps. So to enjoy max video quality you need RC2 and are forced to take it with you all the time

Very nice!..oh so no FPV flying?..can't use FPV like the NEO? thanks that would have been cooler..lol one of the biggest Cons some people have would be the inconsistency of controls and settings you can use or able to use..another review mentioned like on smartphones you are capped at like 4K 30 fps, while using a controller you can go up to 4K 60fps, no slow motion on the smartphone etc some tracking issues as well...also you forgot the craziest smartphone feature DJI has ever put..is the Glamour Effects!..like seriously all the other things that are more important that people need..and you make Glamour Effects!..haha

Ok DJI, take more of my money. 💰 😝. Got into drones this last spring and now have 4. Got an Avata 2 as my first drone and then picked the OG DJI FPV because I wanted a little more speed and power for 649.00 brand new.
