Look, I love your gear, but I have some issues… Serious fail on that ONE EDGE of the 4K Boost lens being modified. That single change voids so many peoples ND filters from the old 4K lens. Why make that change? I’m also disappointed in pricing of the core. The core comes with a battery and cage, for 269 USD. But the 4K Boost package comes with all that, for only 30 USD more. What’s the point of modularity, if the prices are so similar to upgrade, you’re better off ditching the old system? It feels disingenuous, and scammy to have bought into the system at all. Either make the 4K Boost kit more expensive, or make the core kit cheaper.

This camera is only 250$ standalone (no 360 lense). That’s a steal. You get go pro quality and stability for half the price without the terrible GoPro software issues. I just got mine and it’s incredible compared to my old 100$ action cam that couldn’t even pull off 60 fps at 720p or stabilize.

GOOD BOY 👏 exhaustive tutorial !! However, I add a DEFECT that I found and I i to check video recordings, the synchronization between action cam and iPhone (latest generation) is out of phase. In other words, the app sometimes delays the shooting and sometimes freezes the recording. It is therefore very difficult 😞 to operate with precision.

Had to watch later the rest of the Review great job: the Insta 360 ONE RS wished the frame. Release button was different. i may have to. Look at the specs for the Insta 360 One X2, not 100% sure of the rendered quality is for the highest output, I see. When. Some are doing things it’s 1080P, and the Insta 360 one RS will that be the same or is it actually 5.7K output rendered? If you understand my question?

Hi! Will this work without the case? Really love the modular design but I'm hesistant to buy because the 4k boost won't let me interchange between a selfie view and normal view. Thinking that if I dont use the case when shooting travel vlogs, I can just detach and flip the 4k mod when I want to change the view. What do you think? Thanks in advance!

One question: do you have to activate it? And do you have to do it using ONLY iPhone 8 or above? Couse that is the case with dji stuff. I had to turn back pocket2 cose of that. Dji must have some deal with certain smartphones producers. What about 'insta' ?

One question: you mentioned that the in-camera flow state stabilization makes a slight delay. Is that mean that the delay is only on the camera display, not in the captured video? So there is no delay between the captured video and audio? Great video, thank you!

I guess from your audio test the the latency is significant/unacceptable for 360 use/feed to any VTX then goggles! (and from your in cam FlowState demo, with in cam flow state on this looked to be more than 0.5 seconds!) Any idea how usable the (FHD/1K I believe!) NON FlowState stream would be as a feed to DJI Air Unit and DJI goggles?

Hello. You said that the battery has 21% more capacity and it lasts longer. My question is. Is the RS camera using more power than the oneR so the battery upgrade just keeps the same duration or do the 2 cameras have the same energy consumption so the 21% more energy results in more duration? I have GoPro Hero 9 and Insta360 One R. First, I broke the Insta mounting bracket and there is no way to replace it for the original. Second, no matter how high the video resolution it only export to 1080p to the phone. Third, the app start with a lot of ads. It's too frustrating to use that camera. I've stuck with the GoPro Hero 9 for 99% of the videos and only use the Insta for photos since I have the 1" module. I'm so sorry to say this, but I will never buy another Insta. 😞

Howcome you didn't compare the OneRs to the OneR in terms of video quality and microphone quality. You mentioned that the OneRs has a extra mic in the front but you didn't compare it to the OneR's front microphone audio...

I was so excited to get one of these. Sadly there is a big connection and overheating issue with them. I cannot access any videos I have made as the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are non connectable. Anyone thinking of getting one of these, please Google Wi-Fi issues. They are SO MANY!! Tech support is awful so sadly I will be sending my £500 “paperweight” back to Amazon!

I bought this 360 cam. I had it working the first time out. Then after that. I can't get it to stay on. Or even get it to work right. Keeps telling me my memory Is full.
