V2 metal version looks very nice, the rear screen connection is well thought as well. That magnetic battery connector for FW update is so cool, especially for the newer GoPros. Wow even the adjustable mounting system is cool. Nice F7 stacks, good size pads. GO flywoo, awesome review Albert!!!!

No, it's only for the screen attachment and can't be used for anything else.

Is it possible to do a firmware update using the balance lead and a lipo ? Or do I need to use the magnetic cable with the GoPro battery? I am asking because i don't have a Gopro and Flywoo does not include one with the camera.

Sorry, not possible. You have to use the magnetic cable and battery. If you need the magnetic cable, you can get it by itself for $5.59 at this link (select the magnetic cable part to see the price). rb.gy/z03ogj

I ordered the 11. At first I thought I’d just grab a broken 11 on eBay for 50 bucks and turn it in on my subscription and then just get the kit and do it myself. I’ve done 4 nakeds so far but I’ve been on chemo for 2 years now and I just don’t even have the motivation to do it. Plus I figured with my impatience I’d probably ruin it and then just be out 250 lol

Depends on the battery you plan on running with it. Just keep a bag of connectors around to switch as you build.

Looks nice and i think this ist a good Option . I Had some EMI on my geprc GoPro 8 and this killed the Mainbord. Be carefull with naked GoPro. They need the original ground Points to protect the PCB from Electro magnetic Interferences.

@@JoshFPV24 potential equalization Is the point here.. some Electronic parts will create potential. You know why we use diodes and caps in our copters 😉 PCB have normally gnd Points to prevent that a higher Potential can damage a part or create some faults... You may remember a Bad Video Signal on your analog Cam before adding a Cap 😉 you can find more about this when you google for Electro magnetic Interferences on PCB

The fact that the gummies come pre-installed is a game changer...it's the little things that count 😂 $63 for the 20x20 stack is a steal! Ending up buying one for my speedybee bee35 build. I feel like a used gopro 11 + the flywoo kit wouldn't be a bad investment. Great review!

My 20 stack did NOT come with gummies pre-installed. Came in a circular container, so diff packaging. Couldn't run gummies with the ESC and still have M3 bolts.

Just mounted it yesterday, need grab motors for the build so have not flown or programmed. Love the quick connects for the pigtails. The FC to ESC cable would be nice to be shorter for my build but that's me trying to keep it clean.

Wow!!! A very nicely put together package. Version 2 looks very nice. It says "not for power," but I am certain someone will inadvertently plug in a USB-C to off load files and perhaps fry the board, hopefully there is some sort of protection to prevent that. Heavy duty case, that can take some abuse, there are some caveats, for saving weight may make it a deal breaker for some. I like the plugs on the 30X30 FC, it makes assembly and disassembly a bit more convenient, in some cases. The layout of the solder pads, are nicely lined up and easily accessible. I hate those "middle of the board" LED/Buzzer pads. Thank-you for the intro/review.

@@xavierprimeto1752 the back of GEPRC case broke cuz its weak plastic, the all metal Flywoo case is what I'm gonna upgrade to.
