If its any consolation, Theres more to this reality then we can initially percieve. He is out there somewhere. MAybe listening to what ever current reality he exists in version of FM-84. Could be that everytime you hear it, so is he. I usually save this notion for my family. But When ever someone is gone, it moves me to reassure people, there is more. Ive seen it. I experienced it. I saw it. The reason we cant understand it or see it until that time, is because reality is quantified in a way that that allows us to only see whats in front of us. Humans are evolving to see more. But nature designed us this way so we arent vulnerable in states of deep deep meditation, viewing something happening in another universe, or on the other side of the planet. This is why many people lose faith. BEcause they cant see past their own initial impressions of this reality. I was an atheist. a hardcore atheist. BEcause of my own fear and bitterness. Then I died and was unlucky enough to have to come back, since i didnt really want to. I wont project whether or not its a chrisitan experience for other people. That aspect seems to comfort people. But not me. Im fascinated by the cosmic nature of what we are as a species, and our connection to the living universe. Ive seen things, most people wouldnt believe. But once you see it, and feel what i felt, you feel it always. The realization never goes away, the experience never leaves your perception again. I truly wish i could share that experience with everyone on the planet. I think it would tie us together as one singular cosmic species. Rather then a planet of many. The experience, its not a dream, its no different then how i am typing this comment right now. You lose nothing of yourself or the memories of the ones you love and those who love you. In that place, I found myself feeling melancholy for my family. We have a deeper connection to the universe. We just arent fully aware of it, until it is unlocked within our minds. I think I was made to come back, so i can help people realize these aspects. My theories have predated other forms of quantum mechanics that pertain to passing on. I think I am meant to do something with the knowledge. Since I didnt choose to come back. My will to go on was spent. BEcause i was tired of my life and by extension the pain I experience every day. I grew up in an abusive family. But not in the way people think. My parents love me. They just didnt know how to raise or discipline teenagers since I had an older sibling that was my polar opposite. But I even faced physical abuse from that sibling as well. BEcause we are a violent family. But considering im the smallest, that violence was inflicted on me when i did something wrong, because there was no one else to carry my families baggage. I met something out there made of light and love.- When I could feel myself growing tired, and being brought back from this other reality, I asked this being who was watching over me, like a nurse who finds a child wondering around a hospital. SCARED and alone. I asked it, if it would let me stay, there with them. But later I came to understand that was not yet my place. It was not my time. And that I should never feel like my time here is being wasted. Cause its not. Since every milisec is a gift. I feel that connection even now. When I close my eyes, i can still feel the warmth and radiance from that being, and have its image burned into my mind. And before it laid me back down in a black mist before waking up here, IT gave me a gift. It touched me on my forehead. and after I woke up, my mind kept expanding, more and more and more, to the point where I can feel other people around me, feel what they do just by being within my range. Now I can rebuild a car engine based on common sense and understanding of mechanical engineering. Rejoice. YOu will see him again. I swear it.

This is one of the few 80s retro artists who actually gets the 80s sound. It's not just about the synths like so many of them seem to believe. You can hear elements of artists like Pat Benatar, Def Leppard, The Cars and others in these songs.

@one0nine3 жыл бұрын
You're absolutely right about the "80s sound" - it's not just about the different patches, although that helps. It's how they're layered, it's the tempo and the reverb which gives the sense that you're awash in these glorious melodies. Somehow that was almost innate back in the 80s (and I say that as an 80s kid), and few artists seem to be able to capture that mood now. FM-84 is definitely one, along with The Midnight, Kalax, and Timecop1983. They're all simply wonderful.

I got some wireless headphones recently, and the last few nights since this was released I've been sitting on my roof listening to it on repeat and looking up at the stars. It's sounds corny but there's no way to describe how this music can make you feel. My parents were really into disco / funk / synth in the late 70s and through the 80's, and I remember listening to similar stuff growing up on vinyl, and every time I hear this stuff I can just picture being 5 or 6 again even though I can't actually remember that time. This album is not just a gateway to the 80s, it's an escape to a world that knows no hatred, no stigma, no labels and insecurities, where innocence is not naivety and love is love without adjectives (gay love, straight love, forbidden love etc.) because love is just beautiful no matter who shares it. Well, that might seem cheesy, but hey, people say the 80s were cheesy and now there's a huge revival! Thank you for your beautiful music.

I was in the 5th grade in '85 - '86 and heard this music everywhere and saw happy people in their 80's fashions. I felt like I was in a magical kingdom where anything was possible. We need another 80's type decade to come back soon! Bring back the positive vibes and get rid of the negativity that seems to be plaguing us right and left these days!
@crilauriola6 жыл бұрын
i'm from '97 and i like this kind of music as for 90% of the music genres out there, i used to love music from my teen year as for punk rock or just 90's 2000's music which i've grown up with.. i guess it's all about memories and the fact that our musical taste defines it self around the age of 12 till 16 so basically this explains why you like it so much now that Synthwave brings it back, i'm actually trying to make some stuff like this but i need to get hit by the 80's harder to understand better what makes it so bright, colorful and cool. i'm starting to appreciate more music by getting older, and yeah i used to listen a bit of songs such as ''sweet dreams'' or iconic music from 70's/80's, not only this but rock too and maan, music is good nowadays but yesterdays music had that feeling that today's got corrupted by saturation on ideas and untalented people that just look for money instead of inspiration. sorry for my bad english, have a nice day

Well when this trainwreck of a decade finally ends 11:59PM on December 31st, 2019, we can start anew hopefully with even better vibes than the '80s (but hopefully making this music mainstream in the process.) ;)
