Nice filter! With holes to have better access to the trimers it would be much easy to set. I don´t know but maybe the inductors that go to de same point, sould be more away from each ohter. I don´t know. But the filter works great. Good job. Best regards

Olà Vitor, thanks for watching and commenting. The concept is nice but mine was a very rudimental realisation back in the days. Actually I was surprised to find out that the filter was enough centred over the FM band. I didn’t have any instruments at that time to tune the notch. It could definitely be improved with some attention. All the best and looking for your next video! Diego

I think this marconi was more interesting than the filter! It's a lovely piece of equipment. I can't imagine building a filter without the ability to see the response in real time on the screen, it would be almost impossible. Something you could try that may improve it is put a screen between the two coils that go to earth, as there may be coupling between them. Thanks for the video Diego

Hi Nick and thanks for commenting. The Marconi is absolutely a beautiful piece of kit. The more I use it the more I like it. Would consider a video of it in the future. And would like to bring it back to calibration. Thank you for your tip, I’ll try and see the result. After all I think I’ll just use the two BNC connectors for something else. At the end of the day I have another and better notch filter for the scanner. Bye now!
