FM Drone Demo - two sine waves, a filter, some reverb, and modulation.

As often happens, I needed to distract myself from actually working on the next FM video, and I found myself exploring some drones based on a really simple FM patch. That's ok, I wanted to make a video or two demonstrating different FM patches, so let's pretend this was part of the plan. Works for me.
Everything in this video starts with a 440 hz carrier sine wave that is then modulated by various other frequencies. This is all run through a Nonlinear Circuits Serious Filter, and then into ‪@strymon‬ Starlab for effects. A bunch of different parameters are being modulated by the Djupviks Elektronik GBU-12 Paveway II. I zoomed in on the spectrum display to show it in the corner so you can see the sidebands come and go. It's pretty blurry, but that's just part of the charm. [NOTE: I originally misidentified the Paveway II as the Starmaker because I'm a goof, thanks to the person who spotted my error]
If you find yourself getting a bit bored of one sound, just jump forward a bit, things change up quite a bit as it goes on.

What's causing the chirping (eg 8:15), sounds like aliasing, presumably the filter? I love huge reverb drones will definitely be trying a DAW equivalent tomorrow

@IconOfSin - Yes, that's the filter and then the reverb has a bit of delay as well which keeps it coming back. The red module is a chaotic modulation source and it is tweaking the filter in unpredictable ways. When you put it all together, apparently chirping occurs. :)

Why does your Djupviks Elektronik Star Maker look like my Djupviks Elektronik GBU-12 Paveway II? In fact it is; I'm looking at the Star Maker on Thonk's website, they don't look anything alike, the Star Maker is a stereo panning mixer, the GBU-12 Paveway II is a Three Channel Chaotic CV Generator.
