oh how this band brings back memories of 1980's! Saw them several times and they always were better than the bigger bands. They played live and sounded awesome. Always break into That girl or the otherside of midnight when playing my guitar, just cant help it LOL

This song is originally sang by Eric Martin. He released that song in his album "I'm Only Fooling Myself" at the year of 1987. FM's version came 2 years later, in 1989, in the album "Tough it Out". Based on that facts, I think the most plausible conclusion is: Eric Martin is the real composer of this music.

Eric version is much more powerful than this,more soulful and more heart felt in my opinion but steve overland is amazing as well being the original.

Definitely it's NOT!! Eric Martin is a much better singer than Steve Overland... Everytime I think of you was meant to be a radio pop ballad, not a hard rock one... This is a really nice version, but nothing superates Eric Martin's version.
