A few Tips for the newer Players. 1. Set up your staff before setting up training schedules, it makes a ton of difference having each trainer only train in his strongest department. 2. Use Player Roles to develop certain attributes. If you have a young Left Winger with underwhelming shooting ability, train him to play right IF-A. This will improve his shooting attributes as well as providing cover on both wings. 3. Dont teach Players to many positions, If you teach a player to cover 5 different positions this will eat into his CA and limit his growth. 4. If you are a small club, its quite effective to focus training on Set pieces.

What you should notice about his schedule is that there isn't a rest period on the end of each day. The AI assman will give you rest periods every day when it is totally unnecessary. A trick I like to do is to place recovery sessions after any physical sessions and I'll have the physical sessions as the 2nd session of a day, not the beginning. The reason for that is that the players are resting between days and it reduces injuries if you don't have some other session after a physical session. Think of the first session as a warm up. So my day might be set like Attacking->Physical->Recovery, but I'd only set a physical session once a week unless there is a 2 week period of no matches. If there's 2 matches in a week or more, forget about it, no physicals. Also when it comes to physical sessions I tend to have them in the midweek. The Ass Man will set Physical sessions the day after the rest day after a match, and for me, that's just asking for trouble. So I tend to crescendo the workload on a 1 match week, with the most intensive work happening when my players are in good but not perfect condition. The AM will also set the rest day after games as Recovery->Rest->Rest. But if you put match prep, set piece delivery, a GK session or team bonding on the third slot - something really really light - you are squeezing out a little extra from your players while not really affecting their injury susceptibility, and it will help them and the team.

I'm glad you've uploaded this so early on when I needed it the most. Only yesterday I looked at my youth and although their potential is high, the success of improvement seem to be lower than the standards I've put for the first team. Normally I do just the first team training and kind of used the old style of FM training- balanced with the odd few changed for certain/big games. Looking at your vid I can see where I can massively improve in creating a custom one for 2 seperate scenarios of 1 matches and the quite regular 2 match week based on a style. I have a question, having 3 training sessions almost every day wouldn't it cause your players to have lower conditions? I saw your double intensify the training for most does that also work for your first team and how much does it effect your conditions for games? (do they start around 90-95%, do you rotate alot? etc.) I usually use the ASS man for youth training but seeing this I might just switch it and cover the u23's aswell on a monthly basis. I noticed my mentals are quite low as you'd expect but because physicals grow gradually and technicals somewhat middle grounded as they age, making them mentally stronger younger would help persue first team options.

Thanks for a very explanatory video! I'm not really experienced with training in FM, but I don't want to leave it to the assistant manager because I don't have buckets of time to wait on average development of my players ;) I do have a few questions for you about the schedules: how do you distribute them across the calendar? From writing down what you do with your schedules I found you have two for the pre-seasons and two for mid to late season with small alterations. You said you use the pre-season defending schedule twice a month. Does this mean you fill the other two weeks with the attacking schedule? And how and when do you fit in the extra schedule (PRD) for the mentals? Also if you could elaborate: how do you distribute the 5 schedules you use for youth training? Are there criteria for which schedule you pick for a specific week? Edit: I now made a calendar schedule myself with your schedules. I did rotation; attacking, defending, PRD, attacking, defending, PRD. Is that balanced or should I favor some schedules more? Like: do you have a ratio in your head of what you want to train more? So you favor some schedules? Or do you keep it even

Love the video. One question: do you know if there is any difference in training results/benefits from rotating specialized training schedules (def/attack/pressing ect) as apposed to using one general schedule that has all of these elements?

Tell you what bustthenet i havent played much of fm19 that much so far this year, But if i was to take charge of training with man united for example of who i want to manage, i would have no idea where to begin with training even though its another brilliant video for us noobies and you explained it very well, some of the stuff that you have to take in just flys over my head like nope not doing that lol, I do want to get better at fm but now am realising its not as simple like fifa for example i know thats a different game all together its self, Where with that you only get the basic stuff, where with this is so much in depth and detailed for a beginner like me to take in

Just leave it to the ass man and then set match preparation for the game ahead :-) easiest way to do it, not perfect but easy

When you manage big clubs like United, you can leave it to your assistant but you should manage your staff. Setting up which Staff Member is responsible for which section of training can give you improved results in 10 Minutes and without all the intricate training setup.

@@WizoIstGott Well thats good to know thanks for the tips, when i first started didnt get far i got a few injury's to key players like dalot etc, and typically i leave the hire/fire scout staff section in the responsibilities to fergie with him being the director, so thought he could do the job, Dont really look at the staff side of things because ive got no idea what am doing yet lol, then i just leave like the tactical briefings, opposition instructions, scouting assignments to my other staff and i just do the team talks, tunnel interviews etc, also let my staff handle the individual training squads bit when your asked that in the meeting also dont touch training, as its overwhelming for a beginner like me, and ive got the in game editor so i can have an unlimited budget, as i want to sign neymar, mbappe etc for my dream team, but when i start off like on fifa you have to wait a season first as they have signed new contracts, but then again trying to do swap deals with the players you dont want they always seem to reject the move

@@DanMufc-jt9le Fm is a learning experience, try to not get overwhelmed and focus on one aspect at a time. So with regards to staff, don´t try to learn everything at once, its way to much. A good place to start is hiring and firing staff yourself and assigning staff roles yourself. Hiring stuff is like hiring players, only its way easier and you have way less attributes to check on. After getting the best Staff willing to join you for each role, set them up on their respective roles. Your best Scout will be Head scout, Your best Physio head physio and so on. For coaches, you want to have a 19 Attacking Coach only coach attacking and a 20 Fitness Coach only coach fitness. Your coaches with high attributes "working with youngsters" and "judging player potential" are great for U23/U19.

It is clear now how to create a training schedule, but how do you plan them over the course of a season. for example like sept till jan - using schedule A , feb - may: using schedule B? I think it is difficult when to use these kind of schedules. I have a schedule for Pre-season from June Till Sept. , Schedule A: sept. till december. febr-may: schedule B. Can you clear my mind for this? Is this a good start to start with training schedules?
@BusttheNet5 жыл бұрын
You adjust your training schedule based on tactical familiarity and congestion. So if the team gets more familiar u use less blue, if they need more rest you add it in.

You're missing a trick if you don't have match preparation tactics like attacking and defensive movement. Teamwork too. Gives such a boost to attributes before a match.
