It doesn't matter whether these people are from PRC or ROC. We do share such wonderful melodies and lyrics. Don't put politics in between art and joy. Bravo for all the people who took part in.
I love China, the Chinese, and the humanity we share together. We have so many things to share from our cultures. I hope our children can create the peaceful setting for us to enjoy and benefit from each other. Hope, alone, will not make it happen. So, let us work together. This is part of a very good beginning.

+etch scoop Whenever we (whether "we" is us or them) think of others in terms of difference, it seems to lead us to be suspicious, jealous, and, in the most extreme, to hate. When we can see ourselves in others and vice-versa, we free ourselves to enjoy, share, and love. If it is a choice, I choose love, for the sake of my children and yours.
I cried while watching this. I'm from mainland, China and I've heard about these songs all the time since childhood. Now in US, you can't imagine how emotional and excited I got hearing these familiar melodies. I'm really proud of my culture, and people over there. I know China still has a a lot of problems under current political system, but I've seen so many stereotypes and prejudice towards us, many of which is simply due to ignorance or lack of exchanging ideas! You see in this video, people are quite happy and satisfied there... :)

I am proud of my Chinese heritage, traditions and culture (even though I am ABC) but I see that the ignorance and prejudices stem from an American racist culture that seems to hinder their growth by not accepting the idea that there are other beautiful cultures outside of the USA; when you watch this video you can surely see how developed China is...btw, Beijing is such a beautiful city... so far advance in technology and architecture than any USA city...visit China and see for yourself...great video

pay china a visit and see for yourself instead of relying on cnn or fox. i'm of Chinese ancestry but am not born in china but in Malaysia. I am proud of my roots, culture and heritage just as I am proud of my home country, Malaysia. no political system is perfect and who are we to say one is better than the other. the blatant racism I see from the western countries has nothing to do with wanting a better life for our fellow Chinese in china. it has to do with the age-old American psyche of needing an 'enemy' so the weapon industries and the military can continue to make money off the American public.

u cannot fault a system and gov that have achieved so much in such a short period of time for its ppl. the development of a nation needs sacrifices, in the form of hard work, environment, personal liberty etc. western democratic govs make policies for the sake of the individual now, china's gov make policies for the collective's future, there is no question which system will prevail in the end

Nice job Beijing, it is very refreshing to see KZbin and other mobile media outlets make our world smaller and personal, maybe one day we can erase war from our vocabulary. Tom
