I agree. I also passed my fmge in first attempt with 196 marks. I would say always start with short subject PROAFS-OE (psychi, radio, fmt, ortho, anesthe, skin, ophtha and ent) as they are faster to finish and you complete 8/19 subjects which boosts confidence. In the super4 subjects ( psm, obgy, sx and med) at least do Psm and obgy well as they are easier and very scoring. Last and not the Least don’t leave any subject please do each subjects at least 1 time. I used this formula to pass : 1) I read the entire theory of a particular subject only once, immediately after that I revised all the one liner type spotter questions and important points with the book “MCQ POINTS FOR FMGE BY KAMAL KV) . This mcq book is a miracle and contains the entire theory of all subjects in the form of one liners and is easy to retain. It has all the one liners that have been repeatedly asked. If you are not able to read theory of a subject at least do all one liners of that subject which can easily help you to get 40-50 percent of that subject. 2) this is the most crucial step. After doing theory once and reading all mcq one liners, I SOLVED ALL MCQS OF THAT SUBJECT FROM THE BOOK “FMGE SOLUTIONS BY DEEPAK MARWAH”. Once you do that, patiently read all the explanations given at the end of the mcqs. Those explanations are EXCELLENT and cover almost the entire theory so the subject further seeps into your soul. 3) last step was that I tore off the OMR sheets given at the back of “FMGE SOLUTIONS” by Deepak marwah, and attempted both the sample papers given at the end of that book. I did not cheat at all, and pretended like I’m giving the actual paper. I got marks in 160s in one appear and in 180s in the second paper so I was really happy and confident as believe me those MCQS of the sample papers are really tough and literally test your knowledge of all 19 subjects. After completing these 3 steps, if you’ve still got some time left, then just read the one liners again from “MCQ POINTS FOR FMGE BY KAMAL KV” and in “FMGE SOLUTIONS BY DEEPAK MARWAH” only do the board review questions of all subjects again, If you follow these steps I can literally guarantee you that you will pass fmge. Even I was scared on exam day, but I tried my best and finished before time and revised as many questions as I could. Since there is no negative marking I deliberately marked all 300 questions. In difficult questions that I was not able to solve I just applied “tukka “ as each option has 25% chance of being the answer hehe 😜. Guys one more thing I’d like to share. In the exam when I finished all 300 questions I started revising them to pass the remaining time and I CHANGED THE ANSWERS for many questions, please don’t do this mistake as mostly if you change the answer it becomes wrong. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN THAT HUMAN BRAIN WILL PICK THE RIGHT ANSWER FIRst. So trust yourself and don’t change answers until you’re absolutely sure. Do not leave any subject please. Forget about how much weightage that subject has, trust me each and every subject is ULTRA IMPORTANT. it’s like a big joint family of 19 members you can’t ignore any member right?
