FML Installation Video

got my FML last week and it only took me about 30 minutes to install it. did the micro adjust and all the modified Tapco mags work flawlessly. going to try and modify some old 30 round fiber glass mags i bought back 89. hopefully i will get them to work. these are the older mags with the window on the side. i am very happy with the quality and design of this product.

Does anyone know if you can use both "AK Style" mags and regular SKS mags with the FML?

so when will you start shipping and for those who pre-order will a new extended mag release lever be sent along with the FML?

Unfortunately mine came with the FML. Made the mods to the mag and it fit like a dream, but the mag won't come out now. I ordered mine close to 2 years ago and never got the extended mag release or the 3 rail sections. If I remove the installed FML will I be able to go back to the regular duckbill mags?

Do I have to buy another newer extended mag release lever? or does it come in the kit?

The Extended Lever is included if the customer has an EMR. It is not needed without the EMR.

I've been trying to find videos of the kit in use, being fired, and all of them show the door to the chamber (shell deflector) randomly breaking open or falling off entirely. Has this issue been addressed? Out of all the kits I've been researching, this is in the lead as the one I'd like to order. But having shells fire directly in to your face from a door/cover failure and losing the part entirely from a break off isn't acceptable. There are not many live fire videos, they're all older anyhow, and all show that particular failure. Just wondering if it's addressed, thanks.

Yes, older vids. Less than 1% had an issue with their SKS having unusually high brass ejection. On website you will notice DIY Kit or Upgraded RCA. Best to email us for more detailed answers and we can send mod for your gun if you have that issue.

When the rails are in stock, and this lug is standard, I'll order. But I don't have a metal and wood shop to work on this.

Ok so I really feel bad I finally got a response back from SGworks they are supper slow to respond so i retract my last post just be prepared to wait 6 months.
