I grew up with the series. Whilst I no longer admired it as a masterpiece, I still regard it as one of my favourites. Sagara Sousuke is one of the most believable soldiers I've seen depicted in fiction. Behind the scientific liberties and moments of comedic genius, FMP is a very well researched series which may have enjoyed greater popularity if it was released after 2010's.

Am I the only one that noticed this was the first of their 4 seasons that left this big of a cliff hanger? FMP 1, FMP TSR both had Kaname and Sosuke safe and together. This one, they show Kanama getting carried off.

It still has to follow the plot of the original fiction. Compared to what follows after this, Season IV still managed to finish with a (relatively) upbeat tone. Let’s all look forward to Season V.

Man, I saw the first 2 seasons when I was like 12. And then like 8 years ago I realized there is a 3rd season. And then I was 25 when I watched season 4. This show really is a slow burner lol. But I can't wait for the last season to drop. I want to see Kaname and Sousuke finally together. And the new ARX-8 in battle against Leonard's AS.
