Fmr Air Force Chief Prosecutor Don Christensen Speaks Out on Sexual Assault

Don Christensen, Colonel, USAF (Ret.) served as chief prosecutor for the United States Air Force between 2010 and 2014. He served as a trial counsel, defense counsel or military judge for every year of his 23-year career in the United States Air Force.
Today he is President of the nonprofit organization Protect Our Defenders. Protect Our Defenders honors, supports, and gives voice to the brave men and women in uniform who have been raped or sexually assaulted by fellow service members. We seek to fix the military training, investigation and adjudication systems related to sexual violence, systems that often re-victimize survivors by blaming them while failing to prosecute perpetrators.
