I do agree with Cobb on letting go, however I have an issue with the fact that Trump's lies are not taken into consideration. Trump has a very long history of lying about many things. Cohen has owned his, that makes a difference.

The problem is that no judge would allow a change of lawyers mid-trail. Once a trial is underway and a jury is impaneled, a change of lawyers would result in such a lengthy delay that the jury would need to be dismissed and the trial started over. Also, the new trial would have to be put off several months in order for the new lawyer to get up to speed! Given that this defendant has notoriously used delay as a legal weapon, the judge would be even more leery about allowing this!

If you have a client who insists on testifying and you know your client is going to lie, what you do is let the client testify in a narrative fashion, then not argue the client’s testimony to the jury. But you tell the client and the judge what you’re doing and why.
