Overview
The MDM 1 Fox is a composite unlimited aerobatic glider. At its first public unveiling it managed to place first in non other than the World Championships! Since then it has become a regular aircraft on podiums throughout the world.
Seating two in relative comfort it also performs very well in cross-country even though it only has a glide ratio of 28:1. Sleek and efficient with fantastic unlimited aerobatic flight envelope are attributes that set this glider apart and make it an excellent model for Famous to replicate.
FMS has created this wonderfully exciting aerobatic glider in impact absorbing and resilient EPO foam. The mold quality is sublime adding to the efficiency and great looks. Combined with a high powered brushless motor and LiPo battery, gives the budding modeler a new level of high performance excitement.
This glider features glass/carbon composite and aluminum tube strengthened wings that are easily removable for transport and a very compact fuselage adding further to the enjoyment of this model.
Positive and negative loops, stall turns, point rolls and inverted flight are all easily performed with this model and it will also perform excellently simply hunting for thermals or slope flying, making it suitable for a wide range of pilots.

По платформе старта. Хотя я поклонник катапульт. Моя катапульта 20 кг. в воздух выкидывает так что уже даже без двигателя лететь можно. Я бы доделал следующее. 1. в 2.5 раза уменьшил высоту платформы. Этим бы убрал лишний вес а заодно увеличил бы УСТОЙЧИВОСТЬ ВО ВРЕМЯ СТАРТА. 2. заменил бы колеса на колеса в 2раза большего диаметра. Чтобы не скакала по кочкам. Хорошо бы амортизаторы раздельные на каждое колесо.

Suggestion : Captain Blaž & Pilot Robert Petrinčič. How about using a large modified RC Car as the platform to take off? One controls the car and the other the aircraft? You two can do eeet! :)

If I had such a trolly, I would attach it to something at the other side of the strip which would pull it so that you could even launch a real glider. That would save a little power on the plane and get it up to a known speed for liftoff. If you are going to use a trolley, use it to its best advantage. Thanks for sharing! I like that glider. I would fly it up and then glide it. So beautiful!

Dear Friends, the FOX is a beautiful glider, a few years ago I bought the VERSION 1 (ONE), and I added flaps to slow it down during the landing and shorten the ground effect, but for my birthday a few weeks ago I bought the VERSION 2 (TWO), and still is in the box... got too busy lately... Guys, your trolley's main issue is that it's set up with zero angle of attack. A glider can lift off with a fairly low angle of attack thanks to its high aspect ratio, but a typical EDF will require a hefty nose up attitude to lift at acceptably low speeds. I would have expected the Robbe designers, of all people, to realise that. But there you go. A fairly normal aspect ratio model, like a generic trainer, will take off at 10-12 degrees of attack when you start from the runway. But your trolley holds the models at close to zero degrees.

A 10, One heck of a glider with the only short coming being the wing mounting. I fly at home and keep the wings on but to transport must remove wings and disconnect four servo lines. I fly every thing plus the big metal and enjoy gliders because of the hand launch and ruff landing field ability. This glider cost 190 dollars with shipping in the U.S. and purchased through the big E. Would love to get the bigger one but it would be difficult hiding it from my wife who believes that I should start selling all my airplanes. Next thing she will want me to shoot my horse. LOL the video. Keep up the flying and wonderful accent. P.S., the inset picture of me and my Red Tail P 51 is on Ford Island Hawaii where i had the great honor and pleasure of flying at the annual airshow.

Takeoff is all about getting above stall speed to produce lift. There are two major problems with the Flycat on the trolley: EDFs have poor static thrust and higher stall speed. I think that is why the Fox did much better, no EDF and large lifting surfaces give low stall speed (and flaps if they were used). The trolley needs its own motors so the plane doesn't have to do all the work. Thank you for the great videos

I nearly said the other day when you tried flying that EDF jet from your trolley that the jet didn’t have enough wing area to create enough lift while it was sat on the trolley, but I didn’t want to sound like a smart arse. Capt Blaz the reason the glider worked with the trolley is that it has a big wing area therefore it produces enough lift at lower speeds
