Wow this is amazing!! I loved how the old one flew but hated how it looked. This one looks real and the flight characteristics are superb! Tell the pretty lady that her still shots of the bird at the end of the video were perfect! Steve did a great job on the camera as well!! Good thorough flight demo of all aspects of the flight envelope! Love it!! ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️

Did you have to add any nose weight to get the c.g. correct ? I am having to add 7 ozs. to front of the floats to get c.g to balance.
@RCINFORMER2 жыл бұрын
I don't remember adding any weight.

@@RCINFORMER Thanks for the reply, am I correct in thinking the c.g. is the same for floats or landing gear?

@@CaptBaldo1 Yes, but I don't remember needing to add any weight. Contact me this weekend & I can check my plane to see if I added weight.

@gavstreet89764 жыл бұрын
I actually had a question which jet do you think flys better the 90mm freewing f18 or the freewing twin 80mm f14
@RCINFORMER4 жыл бұрын
Both are comparable. Its a bit of a trade off however. I like the way the Tomcat flys better with the wings extended and it has a wider stance to the landing gear and sore stable during taxi. The Tomcat is super easy to fly, but takes more attention to setup the swing wing and need more care when flying it with the wings swept back. The Tomcat is super maneuverable! The Freewing Tomcat is the coolest fighter jet availble:) The Hornet is bad to the bone and a much more simplified and easier model to setup and deal with. It has a long flight time and is very fast! The F-18 flys very nicely! My only complaint with the hornet is that the main gear is narrow and the plane can tip easily, but this is just how a Hornet is:) You will not go wrong either way, it is more of a matter of personal preference:) Call me if you have any questions... 407-683-6032

RCINFORMER yeah I watched all your vids on it and debating between both of those jets to get so I can fly one at joe nall or something but I’ve always been a tomcat fan it’s just sooooo cool but now that I’ve heard from an expert on it I think I’m sold on it thank you very much 😁

Very Nice Rich!, I mentioned in your maiden vid that I purchased one of these, Put a nice coat of Varathane Semi Gloss on it, Really brought out the colors, I don't have the floats yet, But did you use the stock prop with the floats? And is the water rudder removable? As I like to use floats for snow instead of skis in winter. Thanks, and stay safe!
