FMS is making nice stuff, Fair Rc has differential lock protectors that cover the locking mechanism on the axles so you don't pop them out of gear sliding over rocks. Great vid thanks for sharing.

also you can use the radio to set endpoints on the microservos to adjust the diff lockers fairly easily. The shop mini RC did a really good deep dive on this truck that shows all of this

I've had mine for a while now & I honestly got to say, it's a daily driver. The SCX10 Blazer is one of the best performers out of the 8 rc vehicles I own now. Only thing I don't like about it is the body locking posts. That's just a little thing though. I knew you'd like this Blazer Jerry.

Thanks for pointing me at it! Since I have gotten it 2 weeks ago I have also drove it almost daily. Now that I fixed the dig trim no more grinding!

Yeah, I love the radio 11 channel, and the adjustable drag break is my favorite. I’ve have had no problems with mine so far except for the steering servo took a dump the other day have to replace

The radio is cool for sure! I started to tear it down the thought about the radio trims, that was it trimmed the dig servo and the grinding stopped.

you can convert the dig function to RWD in the transmission fairly easily by moving A pin

From what I understand it requires disassembly of the transmission and flipping the gear.

yeah it’s kind of hard to explain in a comment but you basically have to remove a pin and place it on another gear and just flip one part in the opposite direction but you don’t have to disassemble the entire transmission you’re just removing a couple of pieces I can try and find the video that helped me out that made it really simple. I guess to your point though you do have to take the transmission out of the chassis and open it up and pull gears out. I guess it really depends on how much you use the dig feature and if you really want the rear wheel drive instead. I don’t use dig that much so for me it was worth it to sit down for a little bit and take the time to do it.

Nice the wheels & tires look good on it unfortunately the tires are not good at all I have metal Injora scale beadlocks & Hyrax tires with Injora inserts & it made a huge difference that is the first thing I’d do. I definitely agree all the bells & whistles mean more issues etc. I didn’t buy it for that I really only use the locking diffs. Also get a servo asap. At first while trailing I had no issues but once a took it to the rocks & starting getting it wedged it stopped working but eventually started working again but seemed weaker so I must’ve hurt it. I’ve already replaced it & it made a big difference. The performance has been more then I expected & it seems to find traction no matter what & seems to keep upright better then expected for having a high heavy body. Congratulations it’s a fun truck & that’s why we do it for fun.

Well it is mostly your fault I got it!😁 still have to drive it to test but I trimmed the dig servo and the grinding is gone! Tore it done abit and it seems a well built truck!

@@gerrysoldguyreview Ya got it looking good I’m definitely going to have to get the metal numbers it looks like a rat chewed the bottom of mine but I’ve not been gentle with it I run it through some tuff rocky areas. I also have the brass Injora servo mount. I’ve definitely gotta get the interior I think it’ll be a good addition.

The High Trails do come with everything I have the Chevy truck & the TRX newer Bronco the chassis are the same the High Trail just has a lift kit.

All the lawsuits Traxxas slapped over the cantilever suspension that they stole from the 1:1 racing world but they act like they are the ones that invented it😂. No doubt about FMS took ideas on that FCX10 from the Trx4 along with other brands but I dont see the big deal about that honestly. Man that diff grind is awful geeze! I would expect little better quality control if they are going to throw down against the big brands wow! Adjustable drag brake is very nice idea. Good video

I agree completely, traxxas took so long bringing the trx4 to market I see lots of design inspiration from others before. Just tired of all the comparisons to basically the newest kid on the block!

It's not a direct clone, I've broken that one down on my channel the outside portal covers are completely different transmission is different. Chassis and the frame and mounting is the same, but its definitely not a direct clone.
