Yeah the Swamp Claws are great tyres. A bit of low down weight definitely makes a big difference with these rigs as they're so top heavy. 👍 That would be cool, do enjoy a bit of winching. 👍

Yeah definitely, much more stable and a better all rounder. 👍 Yeah was a shame I had issues with it, definitely wasn't a happy bunny at the end! 🤣😬 Will sort it and change the wheels as not fussed at all on the look. 👍

It's amazing how much difference that extra weight low down makes. I suspect the tyres are only part of the equation? I know from our TRX4ms that just the addition a couple of brass pieces transformed the performance. Not sure I love the wheel design, but that's subjective!😄 I've looked at "baby" winches for the TRX4Ms, but yet to tape the plunge on one (mainly due to how it would be powered), but I reckon it would be handy on this rig.😄

Yeah low down weight makes a huge difference. I'm not a fan of the look either, was just what I had to test at the time, will be changing them soon. I'm not a massive Chevy fan either tbh. 😬 Yeah mini winch would be cool. 👍😎

nice one mate. im just getting some low down weight for when i get lc80 back but the temptations always there to put on everything available😂😂 i just went for the all brass injora wheels and front outer portals. ive had to send my lc80 back electronic problems out the box. not sure if the last batch from fms have been a bit turd

Yeah low down weight definitely makes a big difference, especially with a scale hardbody. My LC80's have been great, so it's a shame I've had issues with this one. Haven't had a chance to run it again since, but will be changing the wheels as don't think they suit it. 👍

Do you mean the big root around 9 mins? If so yeah. I think only a few have made it over easily, including the FCX24 and upgraded FCX18 LC80. 👍

64mm injora swamp claws are not supposed to fit a 1.3 rim. Did it represent a problem?

No they went on fine. Only issue with running 1.3's is they push into the foams, so can cause them to puff the tyre up a bit. 👍

Are those the 64mm swamp claw just stretched onto a 1.3? Or are they the 70mm swamp claw? I know you said 64 in the video but it’s hard to tell. I just ordered a K10 and planning out the wheels and tires.

Yeah 63mm Swamp Claws on 1.3" RCAWD CyberWheelz. They fit fine, only issue you may have is the bigger wheels can puff up the foams, so either trim them or change them. 👍 They're great tyres. 👍

Yeah only issue I've had is the power switch, if that gets wet it stops working, so I just delete it. Other than that they've been fine for me. 👍

@andrewkinard7077 I haven't sorry yet, but just basically cut the wires at the switch and join them. Then when you connect the battery it'll power on. Hopefully in future FMS will add waterproof switches like they have on their other rigs. 👍

How does performance compare to your unimog?

Do you mean my green Unimog or the Mograt build? I'd say the K10 is better out the box hands down tbh, only downside is the longer wheelbase can cause it to get hung up more. Personally I prefer the Unimog though. 👍

@@DoURC Yeah I agree, I would suggest to do comparison which helps beginners to understand if it is reasonable to pay extra for a well known brand or you can get something like FMS and still have some fun. It took me a while to figure out that FMS is actually doing pretty well compared to Traxxas and Axial, but ofc. In a small scale which is 1:24 and 1:18. In bigger scales I would still choose Axial or Traxxas. But again I am beginner so I dont know much that is why I am interested to see how FMS compares to Traxxas since they cost pretty similar

Generally I think face to face comparisons and tests would be very informative and interesting for example scx10 vs fcx10 vs trx4 and similar comparisons in smaller or bigger scales. It helps beginners to decide what to get first, what is best fun and reliability for its price.

Pretty sure I mentioned the battery in the video. That wouldn't cause the drive train noises though. Probably stripped a gear, still does it but haven't taken it apart yet. 👍

If you're talking about LC80 vs K10, it's a longer wheelbase and heavier body on the K10. My LC80's have taken way more punishment. 👍
