I prefer the original phone guy over the new one the old one sounded like he was actually worried about people that worked there and he’s actually worried about your safety as a night guard but the new one just sounds like he doesn’t care about anyone and doesn’t care about what happens to Mary

I actually prefer the original Candy's atmosphere, it just fits more with the 80's.

@@StevieJ3698 Yeah, the phone calls in the original also sound like they were made recorded in the 80's, the one from the remastered version sound like they were recorded in the late 90's at the earliest.

Both versions sometimes load faster in cutscene but mostly original loads faster

The newer one I believe had longer loading in general just because it requires more processing power. The tradeoff of having better graphics.

I agree on that sense. Honestly dislike remakes of games when it focuses more on its visuals rather than its mechanics. However I think the mechanics of this game are decently improved, or just as good

It is actually one of these remasters that feels too cleaned up to the degree it misses some of the original point.(even if it is overall the better version) For example, Custom Night screen in original: Is carefully crafted to reflect how ancient the Rat is meant to be in the context of the story. Custom Night screen in Remastered: lol, cropped renders. Who needs style? 7:37 Nice widescreen-security footage in the 80s. 20:33 Why was this rewritten again? It's a genuinely chilling thought to have someone go crazy and try to go on the offensive just to get oofed in retaliation(it also reminds me of the joke in the german fnaf community back then that Mike Schmidt should have taken a shotgun to the job). I get that the new phone call is referencing a flashback-event in Fnac 2, but eh. I'm not feeling it here. 25:07 Ok, this one is funnier than the original somehow. 26:27 Nice widescreen securityfootage in the 60s.(oh boi) 28:40 This is a very weird contrast to the original message of:"You work for basically free? Amazing." I suppose it is technically more realistic tho since the security being someone who's not even meant to be there is is kind of an oxymoron. 29:28 Lame cutscene-change.

Wow. You really pulled this video apart 😅. I must say I have had a fair share of comments said the 80s vibe is gone from the game and now looking at what you've written I have to agree. Although I still think majority of the phone calls have improved, they do come off a lot less threatening or creepy than the original. Same problem with the end of night cutscenes which are much too stylised. However I will still stand by the fact I think the gameplay is better. Maybe because how much faster and aggressive the animatronics are.

If you first time play five nights at candys, I suggest you to play the original version first and then the remastered version.

I don't think it is that unrealistic, even if it is the game creator trying to be funny in a way. I mean if I was the boss or manager and found out someone was working in the place of someone else on short notice, then I would be a bit surprised. In saying that though, yeah he definitely overexaggerated
