@@Nekto_ink fnaf 4 chronologically is before the events of fnaf 1 wich is after fnaf 2 First restaurant was fredbear family dinner, then happened the bite of 83 (CC gets biten and gors into coma). After this CC is in the events of fnaf 4, then fnaf 2 comes, then the bite of 87 to one of the security staff during the day. Then they close and almost go intu bankrupt so they have to go with fnaf 1 (with less budget. Also at some point before fnaf 2 I think, sister location incident happened where elizabeth dies in baby). Then they changed everything after fnaf 1 to fnaf 3 with the horror theme. Then all goes down after everything gets burned. After all that the story splits into two different timelines: Timeline 1 (UCN): william afton gets captured inside golden freddy wich leads to that purgatory thing for revenge. Timeline 2(fnaf 6 and the canonical story): they collect all the animatronics with the remnant of the suits from the souls and ser everything on fire to end everything with mike in it so he can die. Continuity of timeline 2: pixaplex event occure

I have a little theory, on why William says “It’s me” So basically I think that William is just taunting Cassidy by using HER voice line, and it could mean that he is still there, and that by killing him, he got more powerful, than he ever was, And that he is still alive, that is why he also says “I always come back” which is also basically a taunt, so yeah.
