Yo! So for the unused voicelines, it looks like it has been just speculation by the community whether it's attributed to Vanny or not and the text strings in the files only refer to it as a "Voice" and not explicitly "Vanny"! Though there is some STRONG evidence to support that notion with the graffiti left around the hub world seemingly being the work of Vanny, her being credited in the game for voicework despite not having any lines throughout the game as well as the "Bring him to me." line VERY likely being for Vanny telling Moon to bring her the Glitchtrap plush in the ending - unfortunately, we don't 100% KNOW FOR CERTAIN whether these truly were for Vanny or not. Apologies for assuming the speculation was fact, despite how likely it may be.

My guess about those Vanny voice lines was probably that they felt a lot of it was a little too hand-holding. Part of the fnaf community is making theories and trying to decipher puzzles, and having Vanny give instruction on everything would take away some of the satisfaction of figuring it out on your own

11:35 The "H" below the map is what I believe where the game teleports you during either jump scares or the static screen after a jump scare because I remember randomly seeing a letter "H" in the static after I got jump scares a couple times. At first I thought it was the first letter of a hidden code, but I don't know what it's actual purpose is

When you get jumpscared, it just teleports you down into one of those black spheres where the model in there kills you. I do remember the H static glitch, though. Idk what it could be

Honestly, cutting the Vanny lines was a good call. The silent realization of the player when it comes to the mid-game twist hits a lot harder when it's discovered on your own. Having Vanny essentially spoil it for you before the reveal deflates things.

I think it would've been fine if it was just one or two voice lines, or if they wanted to preserve the reveal that it's Vanny speaking to you through the whole game, have them be messages that appear on your computer infrequently. Even then, I think she'd best be relegated to just giving you subtle hints about how to find the Memories.

Kinda feel the removed Vanny dialog might have made things better, keeps things ominous with only visual hints. Depending on how things go moving forward they could be course correcting the character as Vanny can still be a separate character from Venessa if done right. But yeah, still think Steel Wool completely screwed-up with the character in Security Breach who had so much set up only to fumble horrifically.

i think some of unused content could've made the game better but i understand the choices to not have it in. the only notable part is the vanny voicelines and while they would give more attention to her, i think they would've also made the overall experiance too handholdy and less mysterious, ig the counterpoint to that is that some parts and secrets were rather vague on how to get or needed knowledge of earlier game mechanics (like the mask) but i do think it was overall the right decision most of the other cut content makes sense and isnt a big loss

It's so weird how Steel Wool handles arguably the two most interesting characters (Vanny and Monty) in the current FNAF timeline. Both of them are brimming with potential, story, and overall a bit of nuance we haven't seen in a while and YET both are shafted CONSTANTLY! From unused animations to dialogue to straight up cutting them out/lessening their screen times. It's as if Steel Wool has a weird grudge against the very characters THEY created.

The fact the second ending has that full Vanny model makes me wonder if they were considering putting additional angles in that scene (perhaps for the future flat version). It would be interesting to have a reverse angle from Vanny’s perspective of squishing Glitchtrap, and possibly even seeing the player character. It’s also possible they just started with the full model from Security Breach and never chopped off the bottom half.

Yeah, I also struggled with the mask puzzle. I figured it out when hippo says to look closely at your hands. I held my hands up to my face, it hilighted something there, and my mind was blown when I took the mask off.

Maybe the test map with him in it was for a hard mode Bonnie Bowl map? Considering most of the other minigames had at least 2 levels (except the Endo match game and the freezer room), this could make sense, with Monty possibly being the bigger threat of the level (because of the whole Monty vs. Bonnie thing)

Hmm, from what I can gather, we are the last surviving technician. I dunno if we're Cassie's dad specifically, but this is why everyone asks why we are so special - Glitchtrap kept us around so that we could be used to give Cassie the V.A.N.N.I. mask. I'm honestly upset that Monty didn't get to appear. My guess is that he was meant to appear in Bonnie Bowl as an obstacle, but was cut.

4:15 Tangle is actually in RUIN, you have to be quick and attentive but near the beginning of the game you can see it poking its head through a hole in the wall before slithering off. It's a blink and you'll miss it moment, but Tangle is there.

It's really interesting to see how time and time again Vanny gets cut down to just bare bones. I'm not even sure what her role is in HW2 considering she was Vanessa, who's since been freed after SB. Regardless I'm hoping that whatever dlc gets added adds in some context and lore like the Curse of Dreadbear dlc did. Also off topic but the carnival themes are really interesting, even the first aid voice is labeled as "Carnival Nurse" and then there was that big funko wave with circus/carnival themed characters with really interesting designs. It's really getting my hopes up for a circus fnaf game

Its crazy how they had so much set up for her character just for her not to even be a threat in her own game. My hope is that Vanny appearing again is a sign that they're still planning to do something with her as a character. Whether that be someone entirely new wearing the suit, the twin sister theory being true after all, or even if Vanessa somehow has been infected again (which could line up with the Candy Cadet story from this game.) I don't mind the Mimic as a new threat, but Vanny deserves her time to be in the spotlight. They barely used her, so they honestly still have room to make something work.

If she does end up being a major threat, she should have a clear presence. More than just trying to control the Mimic too, if that's her aim. (Which would feel odd, as she just destroyed Glitchtrap here) I think the cut lines really give us a good idea of what's going on here; and I'm inclined to trust them as useful points to figure out what's going on. As everything Vanny says lines up with what happens in the game. I also realized that those lines would have given us an extra bit of surprise for the first ending. There's 6 memories, but there's also 6 parts to Faztron. So we could have gone through the game, thinking we were gathering the Glitchtrap memories, only to be extra tricked right at the end.

Maybe the map of Bonnie Bowl with Monty was an early concept for either regular bowling or even a second game of bowling. I could see an interesting set up where Monty is on the lanes and will occasionally either jump in an attempt to punt your ball into the gutter or stand/slowly walk there as an obstacle that you should go out of your way to not hit.

I really enjoyed seeing everything that was unused in Help Wanted 2. I found it strange that Monty was in one of the unused maps yet he doesn’t appear in any minigame which sucks. And man, if I haven’t been spoiled by Twitter the day the game came out, I would have been mindblown by the PQ4 minigame (don’t get me wrong, I was still amazed, but the spoilers did take away some of the excitement). I have a conspiracy about this game. The Bonnie Bowl mini game was a last minute addition. It feels entirely rushed with what looks like only reused assets from Security Breach and Help Wanted 2.

I think they were right to remove that dialogue, it ruins the fun, removes the mystery, and is too heavy-handed, and I managed to figure out the puzzles eventually without guidance, which made me feel smart. FNAF is all about these difficult hidden secrets and I love it. The game is fun outside of these hidden story elements, so its not like you're missing out if you don't go digging for all of it

Its crazy how Vanny, a very unique and interesting antagonist with an amazing story of how she came to be, barely has any part in SB or HW2, she got no screen time and its sad like such a good character to waste. I also find it interesting that Monty is not apart of HW2 and I wonder if its because he's dead as we saw in Ruined where was Chica, Roxy, Sun and Moon are still alive, and we never see Ruined Freddy because he's escaped. I wonder if they cut Monty due to the emphasis on Moon being a bigger player here. I just don’t understand WHY they’re a big character suddenly when in both SB and Ruin you see them for the smallest amount of time, they vanish, and then you might see them in the map randomly. I love the arts and crafts and other mini game with sun and moon…but otherwise I just don’t understand his use in the secret ending. It feels very off. Hopefully it means Moon will actually DO something in future games. I’m sick of the Daycare being 2 seconds long.

except Moon HAS been doing stuff, he literally has a whole underground area dedicated to him, with whole posters, plushies, and even an ad for Moondrop Candies playing. Moon has a huge part in the disappearances in the Pizzaplex, and as a reminder Who knocked Freddy out? Moon Who is always the one Vanessa uses to lure Gregory? Moon Who (along with Baby) has unused jumpscares for their plushes? Moon Moon has huge importance and is practically Vanny's right-hand man.

Vanny is the biggest "WTF Why" character in FNaF. I knew she'd end up being everything and nothing at the same time. They can't commit to her. Do they want an evil female character or another hapless victim who needs saving? She has to be one or the other, but right now, she's basically just this cryptic nothing. If she is evil, then what the hell is HER motivation? We don't even really know William's yet. And now there's this Mimic thing. Why is IT doing anything? We need villains with motivations and reason or they aren't terribly compelling. Not knowing why things are happening only works in a truly cryptic story where NOTHING is clear. This game has just enough clear that it's annoying not knowing the rules or why anything has happened.

The "letter H" is a scale for how big one unit is in the map

@@isabelortiz1230 Well, no other games have a reference to go off. But VR has to have some sort of reference to be accurate to human perspective. One of the minigames even has a ruler placed in the map as shown in the video.

Around 30 seconds in when you said to smack the like button bellow and it made the Freddy nose boop noise, I noticed the like button actually lit up when the squeak noise happened, I never knew that could happened and that fascinated me.

From grinding the game my self i can say you sometimes see that weird H during some of the jumpscares also its weird that vanny was cut cause shes still listed as a voice in the credits but i cant recall a single voiceline of vanny in the credits

@@AndrewJohn100 i know, but vanny's whole character is lacking so much...i'm not refering especifically to this game, i'm refering to all of her appearences in the series. security breach is my main concern, they had so much planned for her and in the end, she's almost nowhere to be found. she'd be such a cool character if they actually gave her content, her design is super creppy and it has so much potential. especially with the whole william afton brainwashing.

I guess the cut lines were made because they either changed what they wanted the lore of the game to be, or decided that they had too few lines to actually include them in the game at all.

Its speculated that because of the person we are playing as, Monty will not make an appearance because this person hates Monty. So no, Monty was never intended to be in the game
