I went to amc yesterday and saw the movie and the audience was ALIVE. Everyone was cheering clapping when things happened it was awesome also the movie was a solid 11/10

It's such an experience when the crowd gets into it. I feel like there are some crowds that want to be loud and scream but nobody wants to be the first one. So, you have to break the ice early to let everyone know it's okay. You are amongst friends.

I feel like he just randomly said "I always come back", without any buildup. If I was the writer, i would've added more: "Despite everything you do to me, I'll never leave. I'll always be a cold feeling you get when you think of me. Anything that you might think harms me, should kill me, and everything in between, won't affect me. Just know, that I always come back." This definitely is for the fans. You really don’t see that nowadays. For everyone else I can easily see it being a mid movie. 5-6/10. But they obviously packed this with stuff for the fans, as a pretty good fan of the game I’d rate it 8/10. I think Matthew was phenomenal, spring trap was just *chefs kiss* but he could’ve kept the mask on longer. And the “I always come back” was great but really in a bad spot. They should’ve prefaced it with another sentence or two, and shown a little bit better that Afton KNOWS what he’s doing, he’s putting on the mask to die knowing he’ll come back like the kids did (I don’t think he knew in the games obviously but I like the twist that in the movie he knows about the ghosts and therefore knows how they work)

I went on the 26th early screening and the theater was silent the entire time. My theater is so boring. Same thing happened when I went to go see across the spiderverse opening night. Except there the only reaction was a baby who was a crying.
