What I think, Bonnie is the most aggressive of the animatronic's. He must’ve assumed Monty would replace him so he got rid of the replacement but when workers saw Bonnie with a destroyed Monty they put Bonnie out of decommissioning while Monty became the main bass player

Ok but the Vanessa and bots thing kinda makes sense bc William had vanny/Vanessa rip Freddy apart in one of the endings, so maybe before that happened when Bonnie was still there Vanessa/vanny ripped Bonnie apart with the bots because maybe Bonnie knew too much about Vanessa's plans and she found out about him knowing so she decided to get rid of him by using the bots

@ •| iSwud uvu |• ok but like. if monty destroyed bonnie, bonnie wouldve been fixed. thats what happens to the destroyed animatronics in one of the endings, so obviously they can and do repair them if theyre destroyed. hence why vanny had no problem basically destroying freddy. montys AI, aka what makes him ‘sentient’, probably wasnt programmed to even know how to properly hold a guitar, much less play it. monty would appeal to kids the same way that foxy did, so it wasnt the popularity. its more likely that bonnie just wasnt popular enough and/or was associated with springtrap and scraptrap because hes a bunny
