So I have a theory in ruin that Sun and Moon aren't fully "Whole" as Sun said, Sun and Moon are still there but they can't control the body any longer. Sun did this because he knew if Moon had control bad things would happen so he decided it would be better if another consciousness was in control rather than him or Moon so now Ruin Eclipse is just basically the host carrying Sun and Moon around while the two can only converse with Ruin Eclipse and Watch what he does while they're stuck.

I've been so excited to see them play this!! And I have something interesting to share that I noticed When Sun(game) is speaking, it's only when the mask is on. He only talks to you when it's on and talks about being "stuck in a nap." When the mask is off, Moon(game), starts talking to you. If you try and fix Sun(game) with the mask on, he says, "No!! Reboot the *other* me," implying that Sun(game) was never really there at all. You could only see him while he was "stuck in a nap" with the mask on, because Moon(game) had been in full control the entire time. The mask allows you to see him in his "nap" state when Moon(game) is the one in control. Without spoiling too much, later on in the game when talking to an animatronic, the normally broken animatronic appears whole and can communicate with you while the mask is on. So the mask not only does its spooky magic stuff, it also allows communication with animatronics that you would have otherwise not been able to speak to.

Moon was certainly waxing poetic today. And his reaction to seeing the endoskeletons was hilarious. As was both of their reactions to this Eclipse and how different they are to the one they know. And Sun is a good golfer! Their reaction to Monty's origin story and "baby photos" was also hilarious.

To be honest who doesn’t hate the endoskeletons they’re so annoying they might just be the most hated animatronic/monster. And like actually I feel like all the KZbinrs play the Ruin DLC Mini Golf for some reason while it wasn’t even noticed in the not Ruin Security Breach. I love to imagine that the boys had hugged and made up after Sun was given back. I’ve been thinking about something for a while. Moon got hurt and royally pissed at Sun for lying to him and keeping secrets about KC and the training with the star power behind his (Moon’s) back. Moon (and Computer) are *both* keeping Earth being connected/used by the Creator to secretly upload stuff to the databanks a secret from Sun. *I have a feeling Sun’s gonna be royally pissed and hurt when he finds out that Moon is doing the same thing that he yelled at him for.*

This was such a cool long playthrough! I very much enjoyed watching all of it! Moon really hates the endos and I don’t blame him, seeing their reactions to the Ruin Sun and Moon was fun to see. I can’t get over how Ruin Eclipse is like.. so chill and nice. My heart felt a little tug when Ruin Sun said “Thank you,” it like he was at peace with himself. The AR world is really weird but interesting at the same time, some things being there that’s not in the real world is trippy, especially when you need to use that world to get to another place. It’s very bizarre, I wonder if that’ll get explained at some point. But all that aside, I’m looking forward to more of this! This was a really good video! You guys did great thus far! ^^

Btw deactivating the Pat-Pats actually sets the children's spirits free. So it's actually pretty wholesome, even though it feels wrong. (If you don't understand, the children's spirits are trapped inside the Pat-Pats and are screaming for help, we deactive them so that the children can finally rest :) )

Anyways, this DLC is different from any other game in the Fnaf franchise. I kind of forgot that it was Fnaf since it’s so different. But in a good way! I may like the base game of Security Breach but the DLC takes the spot for me as the best Fnaf game. You can tell how much Steel Wool improved from the base game to the point that this DLC should be considered it’s own game. My favorite part in this whole DLC is the Daycare part with Ruined Clipsy, and the ending with…I’m not going to say since I don’t want to spoil anybody who hasn’t saw the ending yet. But this easily takes the spot as one of my favorite Fnaf games.

43:08 - The moment that will launched a thousand fanfics and fanarts (probably) 43:43 -The silence is defining I'm pretty sure no one in the fandom saw this coming. I'm honestly shocked they called it Eclipse, since thats a fan given name based on Balloon World. My guess is that Eclipse is either meant to be a third entity that acts as their "safety mode." Or that's what happens when (the game's) Sun and Moon are "factory reset." The implications of either are terrifying. But since there is no Eclipse merch, or candy ads, I don't think he was around for very long.

Tbh I think Sun takes care of playing with the kids, moon takes care of the kids when they have to sleep, and Eclipse takes care of birthdays because he screamed « HAPPY BIRTHDAY! »

my personal theory is that Eclipse was the original daycare attendant(hence the safety mode) while Sun and Moon were for the theatre and daycare activities(Storytime with Moon, Arts and Crafts with Sun, etc.)

@ShonaTodoroki One theory I have, if we treat their origin mentioned in Tales From the Pizzaplex as true, is that "Eclipse" started as the theatre bot, whose shtick was having 2 different forms. But by the time he was turned into the Daycare Attendant, those 2 forms split into 2 personalities. Hence, why there is no memorabilia for him. If any did exist, it would have been back in his theatre days. But this is not the books. Honestly? I don't think he was ever supposed to be called Eclipse before Ruin. Eclipse was a fan name for that creature at the end of Balloon World. Steel Wool must have called him that because they knew we would freak out. He was probably going to be called "The Daycare Attendent." Or just "Sun & Moon"

To answer your question at the end there, it’s because Sun is only seen/talks while the mask is on! I don’t think they had AR active long enough in-game for the voiceline to trigger.
