If you listen to the whole album, it sounds a lot like this is Nate passive aggressively saying that he's sick of doing nerdcore music. A lot of lyrics go out of their way to touch on exhausted artists, overdone efforts, and becoming something you hate. Not just in a "haha, it's about a horror game" way, either. Even in the intro tracks and early promo videos. And it's no surprise after some of the songs from Paid In Exposure, really. Either way, I've really enjoyed this album for both it's meanings. There's a lot to learn from both subjects of deep-written stories and artist's demands from the masses. And from the curses of horror monsters to the curses of fan expectations, this makes for quite a unique album in it's topics. I hope Nate's doing well, and I hope he had fun making this collab with JT Music. As the song title might suggest, I'm sure a lot of others like me have been wanting them to do a song together for quite some time!

I said this song sounded more like Nate venting about FNaF at some parts than it just being a FNaF song a year ago, and I still think that today. With that being said; It also sounds like it’s also coming from Scott Cawthon’s viewpoint too. Especially with that “Coming back to me, crawling back to me, begging me for another game” lyric and onwards “too dumb to leave, too blind to see, everything now it just ain’t the same” “Now from the start, look in your heart, it’s an addiction you know it” And then him/whoever relating to the listener with the “You’re not to blame, I know we’re the same, convictions I got don’t show it” “I wish we could go back to a time that was simple and we knew we had this” Nate and/or Scott talking there Before the lore got crazy because people kept on wanting more etc. y’know.. But yeh.. Scott just kept going, making everything all jumbled. I find the lack of third chorus really interesting. On one hand it really feels like it’s missing something and leaves you wanting more or at least a bigger pay off. But on the other hand that feeling really resonates with the themes of the song and the FNAF franchise as a whole which is kind of genius.

Holy hell, *massive* Madness vibes, jeez. That song came out three years ago and the theme of being unable to escape this franchise is still as relevant as ever in these songs... "On and on, I can never escape my fate, now I'm never getting out- I know that this won't be my last time, I'm losing sight..." "Now is this what you want, what you need? Its all that you expect from me. Addiction to the mystery, but then what will you have?" History repeats and still these men are stuck in the cycle. Its almost a shame the music is as good as it is, if it weren't maybe there would be less of a fan expectation to keep putting out FNaF music? Then again, Nate made a song explicitly discouraging this kind of fan speculation so I guess take all this with a grain of salt.

Yeah, it's hard to really say if that's how he feels about it. The games themselves have this feeling of being stuck in a cycle. Even "Manged" opened up with "we're back, revamped, the madness never ends", and that only got more pronounced in the past couple games (Ultimate Custom night especially). That being said, I hope he enjoys doing this. These songs are basically original songs with their inspiration being used in their marketing, anyhow.
