Ah yes the sweat set the locks off. Not the fact the suit hadn't received proper maintenance for over 10+ years or how it was kept in a moist room. It was definitely the sweat.

Given how breathing could cause a failure, even when they were (probably) being maintained, I'd imagine sweating could also cause a failure. Failing during the rain, and/or adding an exhaustion meter still sounds cool either way

Getting spring locked should respawn you on the spot with the suit permanently stuck on like a full cursed suit of Iron. You don't need to eat or breath anymore. But you have reduced 'health', move with greatly reduced speed, charged attacks take longer, you sink like a stone in water or lava, and you can't sleep anymore. Undead also ignore you unless provoked and Villagers refuse to talk to you with Golems being hostile
