FNaF Ultimate Custom Night - Power Usage Optimization and Estimates Per Block of Power Used

Here's a video showing approximate power usage in various blocks-of-power situations. The numbers don't go up in a linear fashion...so best to skimp on power usage as much as possible and use that Power Generator as much as you can through the night. Spreadsheet updated with this data. I hope this helps all of you playing through the game!

It was like you were standing there and you were shooting at this, uh...pre-drawn basketball goal and the basketball would interact with, based on how, how heavy it was or how dead on it was, or, you know, so there was some leniency, but um... My good friend Orville, he walked up to me with this look of disbelief on his face and he said, he says, "And just what are you doing?" And I said, "Well, I'm...I'm making a 3-D basketball game!" And Orville, you know, he says, "That's nice, but you need to do your work!" Heh...and I says to him, "I'm already done with my work, Orville," and he asked me to show him and so I did, I showed him all the labs, and that Orville, he buried his trunk in his arms and apologized for doubting his old pal, and...and I said, "Orville?" ...And he said, "Yes?" ..."Would you like to make a 3-D basketball game with me?" ...And for the rest of the year, Orville and I, we made so much fun stuff together; it was a swell time... ...Anyway...I think the point is that...you should be careful about how you talk down to people, you know? You might one day end up doing the same thing as them and, be honest, how is that going to feel? ...I'll tell you how it made Orville feel: it made him feel like burying his face in his hands. ...Or his feet, or whatever, you know, he's an elephant.

Finished 45/20 and im absolutely done now.. I feel like even going 9010 is far too much of a jump, where would you say is the best score to stop where it isn't "worth it" to go higher? My 9000 runs were without foxy/show-foxy/puppet/tv-freddy/music-box-Chica... any of these (even on 1) screw with the overall strategy.. I guess puppet "could" be alright but juggling heater/ac/music box/power gen EVEN MORE? no ty

Hey I recently finished 44/20 mode. I was attempting 45/20 too, however I gave up because of the nightmarionne. I ended up beating the 44/20 though. In my opinion 9000 points is a good place where to stop, however if you want to continue you can do it. All I wanted to see is the PERFECT screen and hear the full NEW HIGHSCORE song ;P.

hey DJ, I hadn't really been into FNaF before seeing some of your videos on the various franchise games...and now I'm hooked on the entire universe from the lore to the game play. UNC is the first game I tried after seeing yours and Markiplier's videos on it...I've been playing Pizzeria Simulator, and I'm trying to get footage to share because I beat the 3rd level of fruity maze...lol..Nothing spectacular happens; the cut scene is even skipped, but I thought you would find it interesting! Hm. I have a bit of an issue with Chica. I always die to her, even when she is set to 1. Doesn't matter how fast I go to the kitchen camera, I just cant change the music in time. Help. And I don't have enough of a time of reaction to turn on the music box yet. Heart plz

Also keep in mind that there are small audio gaps in the pots/pans clanking. So be sure to wait at least three seconds before deciding to change the music.

0:52 Actually, as for fan off power, it turned down to 97 mid-way through exactly 35 seconds in. If that doesn't make sense, here's a better description: Time turns to 0:35:0 Power ticks down to 97% Time ticks to 0:35:1

Just put the power data into excel and made a chart. If you add a quadratic or x^2 trend line the points line up almost perfectly! Just for anyone who wants to know.

11:59 I tried to learn a ton of languages at different times. It's actually quite hard for me to choose one and stick to it. C is fun but too strict, Java is amazing for people who work with big projects but doesn't go well when all you need is one tiny algorithm to check something out, Ruby doesn't have a decent desktop part but is so fun to work with... For now my favourites to learn are Ruby, Dlang, Kotlin and some JS frameworks. My code often becomes such a mess because of all the different styles that are mixed up in my head. What is more I'm taking Java for Android course next year meanwhile I also need Pascal for graduation So... the moral is I wouldn't mind a tiny video about programming languages and stuff. P.S. I would love to play that Basketball game btw

Needed to rest. Not sure what else was expected of me since I strategized to the point of a workable strategy, helped everyone else, and fielded toxic comments til I got sick. Finished in 32 hours from zero to complete, pretty good imo.

Hello DJ Sterf! :D EDIT: Hey,can you please tell me why on 45/20 mode,before i pull up the camera to reset ventilation,I close the left door and front vent and also turn on the HEATER for a couple of seconds,and then when i pull up camera,someone from ducts kills me! (mainly Nedd Bear) (Ik Happy Frog is immune to heater). Also,i could've beaten it that attempt,i had a ton of power and lefty was calmed down cuz of GMB,but then that happens...it's so annoying. It takes a one or few seconds for them to get pushed back by the heater, so if you open the camera while someone in the ducts is at the entrance after you just turned the heater on, they'll really get you

Spreadsheets? My favourite! :D What happens if you run out of power with 0 animatronics and DD Repel? You can always use Comic Sans to make any thing look --less-- more tacky. :D I only have terrible memories of C++ trying to do 3D rendering with OpenGL, 2 all nighters and then a presentation on zero sleep after 50 hours of work. Fun times! Then I had to power through that day so probably 60-64 hours with zero sleep.

Yes every bit of power you saved is the essential to beat a night. Like keeping the fan on all night. Is too much precious power being drained. Like if you watched "50/20" added 6 characters with 10 difficulty levels. Really it's up to having power and timing and RNG with toy Freddy and plush trap being there as soon you goes to death coin Funtime foxy. Basically the gist of it. It's down to you're brain to be able the timing and ignoring the distractions that messes with sight. And timing with everything else before you pop up the monitor. And timing when you pop up the monitor to fix the ventilation error. It's really a lot to take in but I feel the stress just saying all this;( well ggs and have fun:) ( i forgot to mention foxy being in the RNG category as well my bad.)

I think you can use even less power when you want to get rid of foxy. Put the sign on the left and don't shut the left door. Your camera will lock rockstar chica just like the plush characters.

a person who's way too much into precision would like to mention: you're technically activating most things around 0.5 seconds into the night while taking the power at 30 seconds, so it would be slightly off that being said it should still be accurate to within like 3% or so idk, basically it's probably good enough for someone playing this game in any case, the following numbers seem likely to me: 0 bars: 12 seconds/1% or 0.083% per second 1 bar: 3 seconds/1% or 0.333% per second 2 bars: 1.364 seconds/1% or 0.733% per second 3 bars: 0.75 seconds/1% or 1.333% per second 4 bars: 0.48 seconds/1% or 2.083% per second 5 bars: 0.333 seconds/1% or 3% per second 6 bars: 0.25 seconds/1% or 4% per second
