My Version: Plex escapes with a little bit of Darkness lingering inside him, he decides to rest to try and process his emotions, he’s in so much stress and sadness that he can’t concentrate on how to survive, but then he thinks about his niece Plexie, Plex has to go through a lot to find her, but he eventually reunites with her along with Keedee (Toodee’s brother) Plex doesn’t know what to say to Keedee because he reminds him of Toodee, but they trio thankfully escape. But…. It turns out…. Toodee…. Is alive.

I don't think Plex dying or getting corrupted is a good idea. Because otherwise, there would be no hope for the Yo Gabba Gabba universe. But I DO have an alternative idea you might like: What if at the end of the song, Short Circuit, Brobee tried to trick Plex into think he's uncorrupted, just like how Elmo did to Big Bird. But due to Plex being the oldest and the smartest of the group, he doesn't fall for it, allowing for him to break free and escape.

I'd like to think that even though Plex ends up getting corrupted at the end, just like Golf Ball in the first part of Battle For Corrupted Island, he was able to maintain his mind and his sanity. After all, he wasn't corrupted first. Proving that if any of the main five: Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee and Plex, have a chance of escaping, or at least outsmarting the darkness, it would be Plex.
