I've got a theory The one controlling BF is actually the Spirit from Week 6; he plots to take over Boyfriend's body to get revenge on him for leaving him stuck in Hating Simulator, but Daddy Dearest, who plans to get rid of BF sends him out there, and immediately his transfer to the real world reveals his true power. Spirit in the game world had very limited power, and could only take control of one body at a time, however in the real world; he has total control over multiple people at once using his corruptive abilities. Since he thought he couldn't trust DD after what he did to him, he tried corrupting him first and foremost above all else; the corruption took him very slowly as his demonic powers were too strong for it to take huge effect on him. However, it was taking forever to fully take control since his demonic powers are just that strong, so Spirit was forced to finish him in his slightly weakened state. Just before he got murdered, Daddy Dearest managed to somehow leak the location of where Boyfriend was to Spirit. When the Spirit entered Sky's realm, he knew he had to be very sneaky and quiet, so he cracked into boyfriend.xml's files and glitched his way into his body, thus slowly corrupting him overtime in the process. He ended Sky as well, since he believed her to be a part of Daddy Dearest's plan to kill off Spirit once and for all, especially since he knows the two of them have crossed paths and worked together before.

Hear me out, if you listen to the quote, it says that there’s a different entity possessing sky. What if this interpretation of the corruption has a sort of strength requirement to fully corrupt someone? And the manifest entity making it more of a hassle to corrupt than to just kill
