Poor typhlosion....this feels like the only instance of Snow On Mount Silver where typhlosion actually had a chance of surviving if you play it right, which, does make me happy, but at the same time, the poor creature is falling apart, and yet still has enough determination in it's body to keep it's master warm and alive, willing to sacrifice itself if you play it sloppy. Rest in peace friend.....

To those who don't know how to beat this : On the left side of the screen, there is a frostbite bar which will rise up during the song, the more higher the bar is, the more damage you will take. In order to drain over 50 percent of the bar, you need to press space in order for the Typhlosion to warm you up. However, Typhlosion has 20 health, and will eventually die if you continue using the fire. His health is shown on the top of the bar. After Freakachu has been released, they will occasionally use Pain split, which will drain half of your health bar This song is quite hard if you play it for the first time. Here is a tip : avoid using typhlosion during times when both Blake and Red sing, and be sure to use it when Freakachu is released.

@@jamiezenin It’s actually be pretty easy, just add the previous song’s mechanics (like Hell Mode Insomnia has the mechanics from Frostbite, etc), use mechanics from other songs (Isotope Hell Mode has Missingno’s mechanic, Purin Hell Mode uses the Celebi mechanic) or make entirely new mechanics for certain songs (like for instance a new mechanic for Amusia)

I checked the Creepypasta to see if this theory could be disproven, but nope. Gold in that creepypasta had the 3 starters, Lugia, Tyranitar, and Pidgeot. No ice types in sight. Only Typhlosion lived long enough over the course of the pasta to make it to the fight against Red.

i kinda hoped if you managed to "keep" typhlosion alive, there would've been an alternative ending where it sacrifices its life for you to escape instead, as you were forced to flee while they and freakachu ends up within a brutal fight... whilst typhlosion managed to buy you some time to flee, yet leaving you to die out cold within the midst of the blizzard of the mount silver.

My favorite gameplay mechanic of this song is that you take a good chunk of damage when Freakachu bites itself, referencing in the original creepypasta when Pikachu used Pain Split to kill Typhlosion. Such an insane detail to add that is sure to go unnoticed in the heat of concentration, and it's incredible to me how faithful they stayed to the original. This mod was SO freaking cool, as a long time creepypasta and pokemon fan it's definitely my favorite fnf mod

Honestly the thing that frightens me the most here isn't the creepy sprites, but the typloshion's back, where he uses the move, the skin is ripped off, because its hurting it whenever it uses the move, but its loyal to its trainer to keep them warm, only for the said trainer to die to the freakachu at the end of the song.

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure frostbite doesn't do this, at worst your skin turns pale blue and you lose fingers, toes, maybe even hands, but entire limbs? I doubt it, you're probably long dead before it has a chance to get that bad. And you DEFINATELY won't lose eyes or get your chest ripped open. That last one is especially unlikely considering exposing the organs to the elements is literally what frostbite exists to prevent. So my theory is that it's all pikachu's doing, pikachu ate all of them. I wouldn't be surprised if it ate part of itself looking at that face.

They're both pretty scary. Burning is quicker but way more painful, you can feel your skin melting away before either dying from the pain, suffocation, or the slowest way if both of those don't kill you yet being the flames themselves. Whereas when you freeze to death it's the complete opposite, it's much slower and you just become more and more numb from frostbite until your blood freezes. Would rather go out from the cold than from the flames personally

At the end of the song, there was meant to be a cutscene before the Screamer: Freakachu would use Destiny Bond, then brutally eat through Blake's (or Gold's), before showing said Screamer But because the mod got some missing assets, it isn't shown. It does give a bit of mystery, as you might be confused at first and then BOOM! Jumpscare in your face! But I've gotta say, it's a lot nicer than the OG Screamer. I remember there also being a louder and more disturbing screamer at the end of the original Creepypasta, but this one is shorter and more "soft" in comparison It has to be my favorite Lullaby song alongside Shitno

Freakachu used destiny bond… destiny bond is a Pokémon move that when the Pokémon is fainted… the opponent Pokémon that knocked the other Pokémon out will also faint when the Pokémon uses destiny bond… So when freakachu used it… freakachu is actually dead and not dead so he used it on gold and now they are both suffering in the undying top of a freezing mountain for idk how long…

considering how people said frostbite doesn't o this to the people, i have a theory notice how the entire surrounding area is just white, like a blizzard it's hard to see in blizzards, right? so, you can tend to fall unexpectedly and get injured, especially on a mountain. Also, perhaps pokemon are trying to kill each other to survive, thus the pokemon injuries? ~Gold might've also sacrificed some libs and such to have enough energy to escape the cold.~ (gold got attacked by celebi) As for Red, i'd say that his Pikachu is the main cause of all the injuries. And we can see that some pieces of Pikachu are missing as well, so either it's eating itself, or the constant use of Pain Split is killing it. But hey, that's just a theory. a game theory

what comes to mind to me after seeing a few versions of this now is the one idea that gold ran into the shiny half celebi on the way up that used pain split/parish song / destiny bond like move costing gold half his body as well. Golds other pokemon died on the way up. Once getting to the top he expected to see red as red when in reality likely red started to kill off his own pokemon like snorlax (likely fist to die but meat got to cold to fast, or maybe even used for a bit like luke did in star wars) espeon (looks starved to death more then anything) to feed his charizard, veno didn't last long in the cold cuz of a plant and unlikely inedible due to the 'poison' typing even if someone tried (bite? on its leg) . when charizard finally died he tried to keep his last pokemon pika alive by feeding it, pika went crazy from eating his pokemon and attacked then started to eat it's self (or red sacrificed himself to save pika.??)

That's not how pain split works. He used pain split on gold. when he bites himself, he splits the damage between himself and gold to increase red's chances of winning. The injuries are just random there's no reason for them to reflect.

if you time it when the frostbite bar almost hits halfway, you will survive. the hidden mechanic of this fight is that the closer the frostbite bar gets to the top, the "harder" it becomes to defeat red because the bar fills faster the closer it gets to being full, unknowingly forcing you to use ember more often and wasting pp.

Snorlax looks absolutely wrecked! Also, theres a Charizard in the background next to blastiose and venusaur.
