I'd figure I'd clear something up here, I learned this from a comment by a dev on the older version. The old version was originally meant for MMNM but the team eventually split into two mod teams working on different mods. The composer for the old version left for the second mod team taking the old version with him, meaning the MMNM team had to replace it with this new version. The old version is now going to be in the upcoming "FNF: Classified" mod under a different name.

Ngl I had a sweet idea for the first part of the song being Luigi seeing mario even though it's boyfriend who he really is with but his hatred towards mario makes him believe boyfriend is him and near the end of the 1st song before falling he would stomp the ground in anger because he lost once again or something like that causing the bridge to break causing Luigi to try and jump to boyfriend only to hang on the edge and try to get help from him only for the wood to break that he's holding onto and making him fall into the lava which makes him say "I HATE YOU" Because Luigi is still convinced boyfriend is his selfish brother and instead of saving him leaves him to die which then proceeds onto the second part of the song

I personally prefer the original but I don't hate this rendition of the song it sounds intense and very gritty which I kinda like tbh. But I know Chase can do better than this then again it's getting a remake so Chase Redding can redeem himself. Even he said this song was his worst and wanted to go harder on the drop but didn't know how to do it he was trying to go for a fast hardcore / rock kinda drop but it didn't end up well. In all honesty, my favorite part of this song is the entire Normal Luigi part, it feels bitter Then he falls into the lava (they could have shortened this part because honestly Luigi just looks stupid, like bro just jump off the part that's breaking lmfao) Then he jumps out of it, the song slowly fades in to hype you up, and he screams "I HATE YOU!" (props to the VA, whoever they are, they nailed it) And we come to the part I don't like, that melody that just repeats over and over again, it doesn't sound good, and it doesn't even sound aggressive, like, from this perfect "III HAAAATE YOOOOUU!", you assume the song is gonna go from bitter to pure fury, but... No It's just a basic hard FNF song The old Burning Hatred may have not sounded hard, but at least you could feel that Luigi was genuinely furious, and it went fucking hard, when it was first teased, I genuinely loved it, and it was only a few seconds, those few seconds went harder than this full song right here, and that's not normal Anyway, the mechanic of this song is pretty cool, made me feel kinda stupid when I realized the lava bubbles didn't do any damage Luigi then says "DIE!!" and "IT BURNS!!" and poof, end of the song So, opinions? I dislike it, of course, I don't see it as the worst FNF song (Brightside exists after all), but, that doesn't make it a good song However I still really like the Normal Luigi part, I really hope they keep it if they end up remaking it in an update

I read your full comment and I can respect your opinion, but I myself fuckin love this song, sure it may be repetitive but.. Most other songs in the mod are also extremely repetitive Atleast they made the instrumental even more fire than the laval Luigi fell in That shit genuinely goes hard as fuck And Atleast it tries to mix it up, yknow, addin the fireballs that block your vision and the health drain, while pretty basic adds that new layer of intensity to the song Also va did a fucking amazing job on all the voice lines, except for the die one that one was kinda unhearable The first and more chill part is also extremely good, it shows a narrative and how pissed Luigi is, to then drop into the lava, build up and then get into the real meat and potatoes of the song So, yes it is indeed just loop a couple verses round an round, but the instrumental helps boost it and change it up, as well as the song getting progressively harder, leading to the duo at the end and then it burns So my personal thoughts on the song? It's incredible. The chill part Is good, the build up is good, the built up part is good and I also like luigis design, with the ribs peeking out, also the VA genuinely did an amazing job So yeah thanks for reading this if you did, I did not plan to write an entire review lol

First time I played this mod I thought it was meh and uninstalled it and this was the only song I liked. Reinstalled it cause I forgot about it and it is now my fav mario creepypasta mod. Mario Madness better come out before the V2 for this drops otherwise no one will care anymore lol.
