pov: dust sans is trying to survive nnn against monika

(Kinda a mixed character idea between undertale and the PM-verse) Aurora - the sun shower a girl in a hooded poncho, wielding a giant, ragged umbrella, as many umbrellas seem to protrude from her back like spikes, all her back umbrellas open, with a fox tail and ears, the latter hidden by her hood. Aurora knew of what she called “the worlds beyond” for a long time via trains that could travel dimensions. A self titled “universe astronaut” she explored many of these universes through stolen technology, idly watching their stories unfold, that was until she had finally come across what we know as dust!tale, or at least a weakened version of it still yet to be known. In this world, she was in the place of the human, almost slain dozens of times by the sans that dwelt there, her fox-like agility keeping her from death’s grasp, this very agility is what also aided her in slaying the skeleton, as the rain poured inside the judgement hall, a sun shower that always formed under these situations as if waiting for those moments. She left the now empty world, still venturing through other worlds to watch their stories in the sidelines, only acting when she gets dragged in, either by fleeing… or fighting back. as expected from her first fight with the weakened dust sans she fought, she grew a deep resentment with the murderous skeleton, never once even letting them speak if they got the chance, this eventually mutated into a resentment for pretty much any of the villainous skeletons, wether she could slay them or not, calling them “abhorrent, repulsive waste.” as mentioned before, her equipment summons a sun shower whenever the situation escalates, a literal manifestation of her gloomy, distant mood. The equipment being deceptively resistant, the umbrella in her hands even capable of functioning as a shield against many attacks. Speaking of her personality, while gloomy and distant, she has shown a sudden and even unexplained appreciation for napstablook, even going so far as to call him “a friend at first sight.” Yet she doesn’t show this appreciation for many sanses, especially the murderous sanses, with the only exception (to put it lightly) being fresh!sans, but even that is very thin, usually running off simply because she doesn’t want to talk to them. The same is not true for papyrus, a skeleton she holds in a similar regard to napstablook, even getting her to smile on plenty of occasions.

Abilities of sun shower Aurora: When the rain gathered - usually happens during difficult times (eg: a hard battle), makes her feel gloomier and more moody The wandering fox - her agility is far above normal humans’ agility, allowing her to dodge attacks most would find difficult to dodge, or close the distance far more quickly, she’s also stronger than an average human too, but not as much as her agility Brutal impalement - she hurls the umbrella like a javelin over her target, blitzing to it and slamming it down into the target before opening it to splash them apart if it goes in deep enough Onrush impalement - charges to impale a target with her back umbrellas, opening them as soon as they’re secured Crying under the sunny rain - summons at most four umbrellas to assist her in battle, these umbrellas act like turrets and fire bolts of rainwater, they’re weak though, meant to wear down the target’s determination until there’s nothing left but defeatism Malaise - her ability to wear down the opponent’s psyche with her attacks Sunshower - the sun shines bright amongst the rain, as she opens the umbrella over herself, causing the rain to fall like needles onto anyone not under cover, she can summon umbrellas to protect her friends from this attack Umbrella summon - as mentioned before, she can summon multiple instances of her long umbrella, though these don’t have the same properties as hers do, being as weak as normal umbrellas Corroded - due to how E.G.O equipment works, if she looses her grasp on sanity (a risk thanks to her use of the equipment, which can make it easier for her to corrode) she mutates, becoming essentially a bipedal fox, the umbrella in her mouth, gaining a couple new skills, heightened agility and strength, but a lack of friend or foe, attacking anyone in her way Gloomy buzz saw - in this corroded state, she can spin at a target, dealing a massive amount of damage through cuts and scrapes Weeping sun - similar to sunshower, only this time the umbrellas rain down like hail, opening before she dashes out and back in, slashing to finish off the trapped and wounded targets, which could include Allie’s if they’re unlucky.
